For me the anime would've been better if both of them died at the end then

I think you people are very confused, if Joel hadn't locked Diva up and experiemented on her, she never would have turned evil. If it had been Saya who was locked up then she would've been 'evil'. It's the same principal that 'causes children to fear dogs or other creatures, they are abused by them, then they grow to fear and hate them, Diva didn't know any better because she was raised being hated.
I agree, but technicaly Diva wasn't evil, she was amoral. Evil means Knowing what you do is wrong Amoral isn't Diva actually tried to make amends w/ her sister If you saw the episode when she told Kai that she was pregnant, she suggested to him tat she could help him make saya pregnant, so that Saya could be as happy as Diva It was a truly touching gesture Saya refused any outcome besides Diva's death Watch Trigun for a different way of ending such a rivalry Joel & Amshel were the real monsters

She was hell bent on distruction, and Saya knew she was responsible for her sister running wild. She didn't want to kill her but had no choice. That's what makes it so sad. Diva didn't understand love until it was too late, her fate was sealed.
Every view is different. Saya was raised with love where as Diva was locked away. Saya wasn't aware of what she was but Diva was aware. There's so many differences in the way both were raised, but from birth one would end up having to kill the other. It was in their blood.
It was Amshells fault all the way from when they were born for imprisoning Diva all her Life.
Saya believed the only way to end it was to kill all of them, including herself.
In the end she thought it was their fault for existing that caused all the problems, but it was Amshell's fault for only caring about research and using all the people as test subjects, including Diva.
Saya just thought it was the only way to save everyone from all the pain that was caused.

Who said Saya didn't want a family? She couldn't think about having happiness due to the fact that she slipped and let a beast on unto the world that had no care for human life. She felt she had to take care of it herself (which she was the only one that could stop her) and it was painful for her to think of living afterwards. She still loved her sister regardless, but she couldn't allow her to live and devour all human kind.

Have to disagree there Vaughno04, as far as I could see, it was Saya who was hell bent on the destruction of Diva, not vice versa.
As for the Chiro. that was Joel and Amshel's doing - Diva was merely the Guinea pig (her blood).
Imo, Diva 'appreciated' alot more then Saya ever did. Look how Saya treats her loved ones; Look how much Diva loved her children.
