There seems to have been a trend recently for some Bluegrass to get a little over produced. Some very talented Bluegrass musicians, it seems to me, have tended to get some what carried away with the many and various production effects available to them. It makes my heart proud to know there are wonderful groups like Cherryholmes and Chatham County Line who haven`t forgotten that Bluegrass at its heart is sharp, cutting and raw. Thanks Cherryholmes and thanks Skaggs Family Records.

Cherryholmes! They must be the most talented family Bluegrass band making music today! I look forward to getting their new album. Cia's vocal talent is beautiful, Check out their song 'Tell Me Why'. Their instrumental on Black and White,'The Nine Yards', is a Barn Burner! The Cherryholmes Family bubbles with talent, and I think we will be hearing much more from them.
