@pedro125252 You wouldn't save 30K... This car is about $70K like this (according to Audi's build your own site). That's only 5K more than an Equus Ultimate.

Quite a bit of engines and component parts are shared to increase efficiencies in scale with each group retaining autonomy. If it wasn't for the VW group's deep cash pockets, the likes of the Veyron, Bentley Continental, and Lamborghini's Aventador would never have been created

@weih723 trust me, you wouldn't want the 4.2, the 3.0 supercharged is far more efficient, and is better paired to the automatic due to all of it's torque low down in the rev range, I will concede that the 4.2 sounds better, but in today's times it doesn't suit the character of this car, and in the A8, the 4.2 and 5.2 V10 is soon to be superseded by the 4.0 Twin Turbo in the S8 and the 3.0T. the 3.0 supercharged is remarkably efficient and refined, everything you want in in this class of car.

Driving has become completely secondary to every other in-car interaction. Whilst i would love to drive this car how crap has traffic become to justify all these distractions. Take a cab and bring an Ipad.
