I did everything the video said and after I moved them to my desktop and clicked on them to "play on itunes" it doesn't work and they aren't showing up when look under "Sounds." What did I do wrong?
My ringtones that I make don't go to the "ringtone" section (and yes, I do have a ringtone section). The ringtones that I make just go into "Music" no matter what I do. I've watched 4 different tutorials multiple times and I'm doing it all correctly. Any idea how to fix it?
@Sawatzky101 Go to settings, sounds, then ringtone, and it'll show a menu of all your ringtones. If you want to set a ringtone for a specific contact go onto the contacts app, press on a contact, then press ringtone.
Is there a ringtone maker where u don't have to physically sync with your computer?also is there a ringtone maker that u can apply to,all ur iPhones alarms & prompts?basically looking4a totally mobile ring maker where all u use is ur iphone.anyone?
@TheStarflare Send it? I'm not totally sure if you can do that but you can for sure sync your itouch with your computer then transfer it to your iphone
Am I missing something? I can only have one custom ringtone at a time. If I add another, it wipes out my previously created ring. I even bought the dang app. I don't know if it's just me... I hope it isn't.
@koryebee Well I'm not judging but if you did everything correctly like syncing it and transferring it correctly to the computer and then transfering it to the ringtones section of your iPhone then it should all work out, with more than one ringtone.
@koryebee I just had the same problem. You can delete the ringtones that you have from both the iTunes Library and under the Devies menu when you have your iPhone plugged in. Then just drag the saved files from the desktop you previously saved and drop them into the iTunes library. You will now see the new ringtone under the iTunes Library, select the new ringtone and then drag it to the iPhone under the Devices to sync and you are all set! You should now see more than one ringtone. Enjoy!
Thank you.
