@pokemonplantinumtrad Yeah..it worked fine for me. Just replace it with an AceKard. I've had no probs with games. Btw, format of the sd card that comes with it needs to be Fat32 and you need the firmware from the site. Preferably Akaio (Unofficial), but it works like a beast and lets me play japanese pokemon white.

I'm no expert but I think if you hold down all the buttons x,y,a,b,l and r it does a soft reset and quickly gets you back to the menu.

The cheapest memory card you can get is 2gb and one ds game takes about 50mb and it goes 2000mb on 2gb so you can get about 40 games with 2gb! and 80 with 4gb!!!

Q.) OMG IT SAYS "an error has occured..." what do i do?

A.) I have found this is due to the firmware blocking out the card (FW 1.4U, E, J..etc)

A 2.) In order to solve this please use a Nintendo DS Lite to flash the acekard 2i bootloader so it works on 1.4 firmware, when you have flashed the bootloader the game is faked on the DSi as "Danny Phantom"

The Bootloader, its the part of the card that the ds reads and then allows the card to boot its OS, the Updater for 1.4 DSi firmware on the Acekard 2i, fakes the bootloader to look like a game cart, it fakes it to look like Dany Phantom

You need to convert them to .dpg format first, but I haven't been able to find a program to do so, since I don't count dead links trapped in defunct forums that I had to Google for. I hope BatchDPG is the one that works.

Frankly I just use the Dingoo for videos, despite the fact it suffers from chronic Engrish and a price that's twice what it's worth, but that's what you expect from a country which censors its Google search results. But you can hook it up to the TV.

As it currently stands, the 1.4 firmware will not allow the Acekard to work, but the team are coming up with a fix for this and should be ready in a few weeks, fingers crossed.

For more information, check out the NDS-Gear blog (just Google the term) and you should see most up to date information on the free blog for the EZFlash, Acekard, and R4i. EZFlash look like they've almost got a fix out.
