@iw3ioj First, don't apologize. Your English is just fine. Second, it's really very simple. NpN transistor as switch circuit. You take it from there. I'm sure after a little thought, you will get it.
@electrified302 A repeater is normally used to rebroadcast a signal from a higher elevation. Look up ham radio repeater. This was used as an experiment to test my skills building it, and have fun in the process.
@Ps2Viper87 If you mean can a Texas Star amp be hooked up to a CB in a truck, yes, but it's illegal. If you mean a modulator, yes. But again, it's taking the pep over 4 watts, so again, illegal. So, tell me what settup you are trying to build, and I can walk you through it fairly simply.
@scott231us I don't see the reply, so I will do it again. It can be heard 60 miles away in a town called Colorado City, which is actually South of Pueblo quite a ways. It registers a 4 down there. Pretty good coverage for a walkie talkie. lol.
@scott231us Well, if you google map the area, (Colorado Springs), it goes from way North Pueblo, to approximately 10 to 15 miles North of Monument hill. Covers all of the city with 30+ on the average. About 20 over out into the front range. Beyond that, the only real test was Peyton, CO., at about 9.
@scott231us About double that. Its all about the elevation obviously. Where I control it from though, is on a hill, but I can't hear radios trying to talk back to me. It just ensures that I am heard in an "emergency". lol. On top of Pikes Peak, you can cover the whole front range, almost. Thats the next project. 38 lower side repeater up there. Elevation, 14,110.

zx636racer 6 months ago
@zx636racer Amazing what a single npn will do.
CBKillas 6 months ago
@CBKillas yes a single transistor will do or you coul use a 4n33 photoinsolator thats waht they use on the rigblasters it work for me
zx636racer 6 months ago
@zx636racer True that. I have so many npn's, i just went for it. I am in the process of making a real repeater, and may incorporate a photo.

Nice work got similar but with gmrs radios
zx636racer 7 months ago
@zx636racer Very nice. I might try it with GMRS. Work good for you?

You should demo it functioning.

@mrgoodvibrations I did. It worked way better than expected. It's in another video. You'll see it if you look at the channel.

How do you made this repeater ?

I used the LED on the receiver to trigger the transmit circuit on the tx side. I used a transistor-as-switch circuit. Fairly simple.
