Nice work Miles! I don't know how much of that was claymation - actually moving the clay - and how much was moving and rotating the image of the wheel in AE or something - but all very seamless and polished. That's pro work! And it adds up to a great little mini-doc - I love the "horse-drawn chariot with awesome sun roof"!
@StopmoNick Thanks Nick! I really like your work too!
It's true that a lot of the video was made using my editing software (like the early auto mobile) i just animated a photograph of it.
But the caveman, stone wheel, wheelbarrow, chariot, covered wagon, and bicycle were all animated using stop motion. but i kind of like to blend the two art forms of computer animation with stop motion to create a kind of different style of animation.
(i'm still just calling it stop motion, though! :P)
Wow! Sorry for the late comment! That was cool, now i will always know the history of the wheel, and i learned it from a claymation. Isn't there anthing claymation cant do? lol
Awesome! you got your new camera!! I love the whole claymation. This was smooth and really well done. Miles Miles Miles, I hope you will making a bunch of other claymation with your new camera! . Looking forward those awesome claymations :D Take Care
Well since everyone else is leaving paragraph long comments I should too, huh? First, this is a completely unique video which speaks to me personally as a youtuber because it gets boring seeing people copying off others claymations. Second, the video itself looks so smooth and colorful which again is a thing many animators lack. Any way it was well worth the wait and if we still used the star rating system on youtube, I would give you this many stars:*********************. Nice work!!!
Woot! part two is finally out and man what a treat for the eyes FLAWLESS! UTTERLY FLAWLESS! I watched it In awe! really, really! amazing blew me away! Just keep on doing what your doing and next thing you know you will be one of the best
