I really hope they stop with this new style soon. ToTI was just bad, the last 2 singles were even worse. (just my opinion of course). There's nothing wrong with musical diversity, but these songs just dont fit Ash, mainly because of Tims voice.

Twlight of the Innocents was na amazing album, whatever you were on when you listened to it obviously impared your judgement.

Now, whilei 'm mostly with you on this new style, it's still Ash, the songwritting is still brilliant, and if you bothered to listen to the A-Z Singles trailer you'd hear the extreme variety in each of the songs.

Joy Kicks Darkness is going to "rock your socks off" to quote Darth Mark. So how about we wait for the whole series to play out now. TL1980 has grown onme

They have diversified before that I have liked.

My problem is the studio effects that, for me, a long time ash fan, ruins them for me.

They have changed their sound every new album.

Not one of those sounds like the one before. Plenty of variety.

They have never relied to heavily on studio effects, and it's been a blessing for them because to many bands rely on post production now adays.

True Love 1980 seems to be doing well for them and the better they do, the more chance they will play some North American dates!

Missed their last show in NYC by like a day of it being sold out. Was pissed as hell...

no matter what kind of sound they play, its perfection. they can write any song and the message matches the sound perfectly. theyve been doing it since they were 15.

Not my favourite Ash song.

All the people that like it need to go back and listen to their true brilliance. Such as the entire Free All Angels Album, or Orpheus and Starcrossed from Meltdown.

This song has a kind of feel like the song Candy, but I wish they would go with their raw sound, just the guitar bass drums and vocals. It I can hear an amazing song underneath the syntezizing. They just need to unleash it.

I hope the other a-z songs can be a bit less reliant on the synthesizing.
