  • can't see the springs clearly. bad video

  • Peace be upon you

thank you so much, good idea

  • nice model !

  • Leonardo da vinci prob did not invent this. He probably took this from another culture and the Europeans claimed credit for it.

  • wat

  • surround sound 3000 wat subwoffer electric windows.......

  • italians invented all the world

  • @ziosamsamsam

Funny, the Germans, British, French, Chinese, Americans, Arabs, Persians say exactly the same.

  • @McLarenMercedes do u know Leonardo invented the Tank too??

  • I don't know why must of his projects weren't used....

  • Read the poem "The Great Renaissance Robbery" and the postscripts in the ebook "A Supernatural Affection by da Voce" to discover some amazing information about the personal lives of both da Vinci and Michelangelo, things that are not publicized, but had a contributing factor on their accomplishments. There were other powers beyond those of men and ideas and freedoms of thought involved in their lives, powers with a greater purpose.

  • were's the seet

  • Kind of reminds me of how a watch operates.

  • a great mind. I think he should be knighted and we must all call him sir leonardo.

  • Leonardo di Vinci so damn smart he’d probably know more about a computer than me

  • @linyeagle

Are you trolling? it is spring powered, the potential energy in the bow shaped piece of wood or metal is released and, much like rubber band vehicles, this provides the energy.

  • 'Pure intelligence' should have been the title of that video.

  • Mother of Leonardo was a slave imported from eastern Europe. Thank s to that woman !!!!!!!!!!

  • leonard devacci is a thief ,he used all stolen drawings of the muslims of 10 and 12 century and he falsely claimed it as his made ,what a liar he was , there no need for me to go more on this reality because the west will never admit the truth so be it , ...........it's a long subjet that many leonardo today won't understand !

  • @MrLakehal

Could you provide me with some evidence of this plagiarism?

  • Why don't they produce cars applying the mechanism of this machine?

  • @vkvkvk1219 they should make them so that they also produce their own power without gasoline

  • @vkvkvk1219 cause it only goes 30 feet per wind

  • thumbs up, als meneer Debruyne je hier naartoe heeft gestuurt :)

  • Wow a straight spring machine.

But its a nice piece of complex art.

  • it goes backwards loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • @BeingSalmanKhann how is that backwards?

  • LEONARDO WAS REALY SMART.

  • Be good to make a working one now for short trips..

  • It'd pinch my ass if I tried to sit on it. What a useless piece of garbage!

  • it kinda looks like a wind up toy? am i wrong?

  • Imagine if Leo and Tesla had met each other

  • Leonardo also helped an Assassin named Ezio...

  • @FlareDemonReborn Yay for Assassins Creed

  • @FlareDemonReborn

i'm so sick of you video game clowns on Da Vinci's videos.

Get fucked, seriously. Assassin's creed is gay, if Da Vinci shows you anything it is to not waste your life playing some bullshit video game.

  • @tubub umad?

  • @FlareDemonReborn

    yeah bitch. get fucked

  • @tubub lol umad u real mad

  • @tubub

Yeah, because it's not wasting your life making videos in which you claim that the world will sink into an eternal darkness unless the USA endures all its military endeavours.

Sigmund Freud once said:"Cultures come and go. To think that one is the only thing that keeps civilization from collapsing is one of the worst illusions."

At the time Freud refered to Nazi Germany (who also thought they were saving the world) so we can only guess which he would think about today.

  • @McLarenMercedes

No, it isn't a waste of life to make videos. Film makers are modern artists, and I respect their work. I try my hand in what comes my way and as such have made a few films, nothing major, but may give it a chance some time in the future.

I don't see any moral problem with empire. Overall I think liberal empires like Greece, Rome and Britain were positive forces for the world. As such, I agree with America's global policies. But for the record, I also agree with Freud there.

  • @tubub

    "Assassin's Creed is gay"

Such an immature statement nullifies whatever pretentious nonsense you believe in.

And if you're so keen on "fighting for freedom" then join the army and invade whatever poor third world country you see as a "threat" to world peace.

    Jesus fucking Christ.

  • @McLarenMercedes

There's nothing pretentious about calling a video game lame. It's my opinion, you can disagree with it if you like, but I'd advise you to check yourself if you have such strong feelings about a video game.

I don't really know what the hell you're talking about in the second half, maybe you can elaborate. You sound pretentious and full of nonsense though, projecting maybe?

  • @FlareDemonReborn ohhh dearrr~ this here's a good o'l example of them thar video games mixin up the youngster's sense of what's real, and what's a bunch o' hoo haw *crack* ohh dear! mah hip don poped out again.. better get me some wigger majigger to hmrrmmrnnzzzzzzzzzzz......

  • @meshpet Heres an example of a drunk guy on a keyboard.

  • @meshpet You are retarded.

  • For me,he is the biggest person in history

  • I thought this was more of a programmable robot than automobile.

  • NO DAIMLER. NO MERDE-CEDES. NO BENZ. NO OTHERS....

  • Did that extualy exict?

  • All it needs is a seat

  • Very nice!

  • AND it doesn't need gas

  • @KingKhong811, nope it's green, healthy for the envirement :)

  • @KingKhong811 its a fucking windup toy big deal...this is an over-hyped worthless "invention"

  • @manuntd2009 except that it was invented hundreds of years before the first wind up toy, so while yes, it's irrelevant to industry today, it has historical significance.

  • @KingKhong811

It has to be wound, that makes a full scale children's toy. Nothing special.

  • @MrOhaiMark well if you build something like an electric motor in to it which wounds it when at the plug...

  • @deccno

Then you have to charge it, modern electric cars are a lot more efficient.

  • @MrOhaiMark but also not very enviromental friendly.

  • @deccno It is far more environmentally friendly than black oil products are..

  • @Steampunkfunk Well you might thinks this but the lithium needed is mined in canada brought to norway by boat then raffined there brought to japan by boat ( huge qay) and gets built in to cars(japan is the country with the most lithium usage) which still needs the same amount of water metal and energy that is produced. The cars then get shiped wherever. In the end they might be more efficent but only if it is driven the right way and if the electricity doesnt come from atomic or coal power.

  • Shame he didn't find up something to live longer. How would the world be now if he made that? :P

  • Actually, Da Vinci was a great illustrator and artist, but his "inventions" were actually copied from the Chinese. I recommend people read Gavin Menzie's best selling books. The first is "1421: The Year that the Chinese Discovered America" , the second is "1434: The Year a Magnificent Chinese Fleet Sailed to Italy and Ignited the Renaissance". Glen Beck points to these 2 books on his show. Search for: Glenn Beck Show (January 14, 2011): China's Rise, America's Fall?

  • @donguinto - Do yourself a favour - don't believe everything unquestionably that comes from the mouth of Glenn Beck. You'll find you'll become more educated that way.

  • @donguinto I read and saw the doc on 1421, and half of the topics they cover are just assumptions. I am not saying they weren't true, but they remain theories nonetheless. As for the Chinese, well, they invented a lot of stuff, but that doesn't mean Da Vinci copied everything from scratch, he may have borrowed some of the ideas (that is how science works btw, it borrows from one idea to another), ask an Italian who invented the telephone, he/she will say: Meucci. Bell just... borrowed the idea.

  • Fantastica

  • Comment removed

  • @Steacy783 There's a reason why the general public don't want to investigate oil companies and such and that because the current critics(you and others) are so incredibly stupid that no one wants to be a part of such a group.

I really wish you and others like you could disappear from the internet so real critics wouldn't get dragged down by your reputation.

  • Hi im triying to make one for my final proyect im studing mechanical design, but i dont now how or were to get the blueprits to make it, were did you get it? it would be realy helpfull.

    Sorry for my bad english.

  • Leonardo da Vinci is the greatest genious of all time

  • Ya bara gandu aadmi tha!

  • Mustang ford gt 550xD

  • He would be inventing mechanical sex toys if he were alive today.

  • so you're telling me that snooki's IQ is less than da Vinci's IQ?

  • if he had a clockwork system which wound itself by means of the wheel's motion it could have brought the industrial revolution before the discovery of America!!

  • @diddymuck - That's a "perpetual motion devce", i.e. it won't work.

  • Work Of The Devil

  • @dragonking4321 no. work of Leonardo

  • Wind-up cars were no children's toy...

  • so what's the bidding begin at lol

  • that man was a badass genius

  • so cool!

  • so basically its spring powered...

  • looks like today's FIAT

  • PENIS!

  • @leninul ichnia pabota- pizdiet.

  • fantastico quien hace algo asi ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Shocked people, r u under the impression that ppl frm the early/l8 hundreds were dumb as fuck? Da vinci wasnt the only doing shit like this

  • @1stTrillionaire who else

  • @1stTrillionaire Well he invented the scuba gear, the parachute, the hang glider, and more things. He just wasn't recorded to invent them because all of his work and drawings were lost and by time they were found in the 1800's most of this stuff was reinvented.

  • What a great and smart idea of a auto movile

  • The video is poor because it doesn't explain the mechanism.

    Poorly done.

  • @Thetruthishere11 its 21st century. If not obvious how mechanics work, take a book. Or open your fathers rolex for the begin.

  • leonardo da BOMB

  • Thia thing is powered by ? :o

  • @lauris47 kinetic energy and friction

  • @JoeyCrilly007 I mean it is self powered ? no petrol. engine, or something ? ... if it is such a invention which do not requires power source, why we are not using it in todays tech

  • @lauris47 well i assume it would be handcranked, not unlike small model cars that one pulls backwards causing it to move forward unassisted. It would be considered inefficient nowadays but was revolutionary at the time, at least 250 years ahead of its time.

  • this man was so... ambitious. so full of new ideas... I really would have liked to meet.

  • HAX!!!!!

  • hay whay back in tha day pepel whare not dim and thay cude bild things why tack a 1000 yaers or more to get to wharer we are now ???

  • how much you guys think this will you coast if you see it

  • if leonardo was alive today what would he be making....

  • he would be making nothing...he's dead....... some ppl.

  • the first real car was called a land yot it traveld like a boat with the wind pushing it

  • Genius

  • Comment removed

  • this man knew everything, that wasn't so difficult cose theere wasn't much to know in those days

  • Oh my god... If only they listened to him, and made his inventions, society would be well in year 3000 by now.

  • which software is that?

  • Try not to make mistakes yourself, if you do.. then you should learn from your mistakes. Even better, let others make mistakes and learn from them = Leonardo Da Vinci

  • he must have been very ...very bored to have come up with this one :)

  • @TheJackDaw89 nature is full of self propulsion. For Da vinci to have come up with the very first trick of humanly devised self propulsion was really not as trivial as your apparantly lazy thinking would have it

  • So it is basicly clockwork, the first clock was invented in 1350 AC, in 1495, things like gear, rewind... have already been invented, so this piece of work is good, but not unimaginable.

  • i swear, god gave leanordo legos when he was a kid..

  • @sniperyall88 yeah, the people who invented tinkertoys and legos should get a royalty on every invention ever invented.

  • AWESOME

  • where do you sit in this rennaissance automobile? lol. love Da Vinci's ideas!

  • ...also keep in mind that the wood back them was much stronger and harder then today's (farmed with MIRACLE GROW) wood, plus they used hemp rope for everything

  • It´s great and i wonder why it wasn´t used in the past...

  • would have been more practical if you pulled it for a distance, then rode it self propelled for a while. then pulled it again to wind it up over and over. it would have cut peoples work in half good till a real engine was invented. he was so close

  • It's just his idea for a self propelled cart, so heavy loads could be more easily moved around. Still, it's really well designed. Not great as a car, but ok for a power source for pushing something up a hill.

  • CUTE LITTLE CAR!

  • witchcraft.

  • @dannyboy163

    idiots

  • @dannyboy163 No, a wind-up toy.

  • @dannyboy163 hater.

  • Leonardo is a great man, I wish I could be his apprentice...

  • If you had been his apprentice, you would have had to be his lover!

  • I wish i could be him...

  • I wonder what Leonardo would be making today...

  • @TheAutoReport

I'm glad that Leonardo wasn't born in this century. Why ?.......because, he loved making war machines ;) Just wonder what would happen....

  • @lgolebio so what? Kalashnikov and other were also genius, who later repended for what heve done. think. you type youre glad. Why? "just wonder what would happen... Child. Its happening everyday....holocaust in the name of god and his vatichurch. And without LDV help. The problem of human society, i think, lays in the numbers( people learned to count) and knife( people learned to kill) and meat( people learned to use herbs and fire to prepare something eateble from just killed animal)

  • @TheAutoReport

    video games...

  • @TheAutoReport History, what else?

  • @TheAutoReport ironman suit

  • @TheAutoReport He'd be making a new teleportation device and make Steven Hawking look stupid.

  • @TheAutoReport Iphone 5g, hell Iphone 4879246G

  • @name2user4name lol haha!!

  • @TheAutoReport Oh my god, I can't even imagine. With today's materials and access to the resources available, he would have gotten us to Pluto and back.

  • @TheAutoReport A ps4

  • @TheAutoReport A time machine

  • @TheAutoReport brother i was just thinking that, if he was inventing stuff 300 years ago that just got invented 50 years ago, i think we would be living in space and there would be no dumb inventions.

  • @TheAutoReport IDK LIKE A COMPUTER INTO A WATCH WITH LAZER BEAMS AND HALLOGRAMS who knows

  • @TheAutoReport Probably nothing...There are no great singular inventors anymore. Everyone is part of a factory-system like workforce. Personal human ingenuity is dead.

  • @manmythlegend12 dude,, watch japan and china look at those robots what they're making like asimo an artificial intelligence, whe still have inventors

  • of course when they discover new stuff all the time, like new particles in the LHC though not higgs, the recent two top choices to be the HIV antigen which now just needs to be in vaccine form, and the recent boost in how small silicon chips can get making supercomputers at home or in a cellphone possible in the future(its not weird, look at how much an iphone out performs the supercomputers of the 60s). Not to mention starting to understand how to mass produce carbon nanotubes. no ingenuity?

  • @Pimpmastahanhduece That's correct: there is no personal, individual ingenuity. All the things you named and almost all modern inventions aren't from a guy thinking up something and acting upon it. It's large corporations paying large teams of people to work at certain, specialized areas like a group project. It's like a factory system: every person only deals with a specific part of something. There aren't many people developing/inventing brand new things on their own anymore.

  • for one thing, isnt nessesity the mother of invention? so just because a company has interests in investing in your ideas, the theories almost always come from a single person who is doing the math on paper one day and has the "eureka moment". The Higgs boson is named for the man who theorized it, Prof. Peter Ware Higgs on behalf of the University of Edinburgh. A university is not a corporation investing in new technologies to manufacture something new. Id say thats personal ingenuity.

  • and with how advanced new technologies today, i hardly think Prof. Higgs could build an LHC out of his own pocket, unlike Edison who could afford his own staff, building, and supplies. If I had a revolutionary idea, do you think I would be able to afford it? Not even with all my money and property as collateral could I even come close to 1% of such needed funding for developing cutting edge innovations.

  • @TheAutoReport back to the future stuff

  • @TheAutoReport a time mechine

  • @TheAutoReport Microwavable dinners.

  • @TheAutoReport ion cannon that fits in ur pocket?

  • @TheAutoReport ,,,,,War machines for USA, Russia, Iran,China, Northkorea, etc, ect, ect, etc

  • @LOLDISNEYLAND i dont think so he had Pontiac

  • hahahahaha

  • Magnifique réalisation de la maquette et très belle présentation. Merci

  • wow. i want one.

  • no hoblao espanish

  • shit i thought im the only one with the idea of this technic...

  • thats amazing

  • La palabra genio se le queda pequeña
