  • love this little gem. so many good songs the stones have some get lost it seems.

  • Gee, I wonder where Prince got that high pitched singing idea from?

  • When I feel worried I start thinking about this song.

  • wayne perkins plays the solo

  • Billy Preston on the keyboards...

  • This isn't all that good

  • @biglads4tw Really? Turn it up and listen to it several times (don't watch the video) and see if it doesn't grow on you. I find it a heck of a lot more soulful than a lot of stuff they've done, especially Mick. Keith's b/g vocals and the guitar solo gotta be worth something to ya!

Then again, I loved this song the first time I heard it (I got this record for Christmas '81 when I just turned 12).

  • @cogscretin I was 13 , still love it

  • They still look cool and young here. After 1981 something changes to their look and the music. It's not the stones anymore it becomes a parody. A travelling jukebox, quite sad really.

  • I don't know nobody who don't like Rolling Stones!

  • One of their best overlooked songs. These guys did some good tunes that barely or never made the top 40.

  • i wonder what happened to that symbol in the upper right hand corner

  • Last great Stones album.

  • The Rolling Stones was formed by Ian Stewart, not Brian Jones. Check Keith's book out

  • Is it just me or do they get their voals mixed up?

also 4:26 Bill Wyman (bassist) looks like the only sober one who notices what is going on with the bromance by the piano xD

  • favorite song

  • I love this video from the Stone Age of MTV. Jagger can't lip sync to save his life, and you know why? He never had to! Every TV appearance and every video they did before this album, the music was prerecorded and Jagger sang live to it, which is directly opposite to what cretinous people like Madonna and Britney Spears do today.

  • Reason #1 to not talk to Jack!

  • Charlie's face is PRICELESS ! LOL

  • Wayback I felt they were doing a great job for emotional rescues ,-)

  • great song

  • This tune is just classic badass loose groovy Stones. So simple yet so perfect. Keef is the coolest dude on the planet.

  • I love Mick's falsetto voice o: absolutely love it!

  • Ronnie never played the Solo Lead on this........Wayne Perkins was the man...

  • Rolling Stones is the best band ever.

  • Man, do Keith and Ron look stoned.

  • They definitely have it in them to do one more album. They should make it their best one yet. They need to focus more getting 10 excellent tunes instead of 15 ok ones. Thats why they haven't done anything iconic since Tattoo You.

  • Ok Bill, look awkward....NOW!

  • My favorite thing about these Stones videos from the late 1970s through the early 80s...the camera follows Mick through the verses, but than hits Keith as the chorus comes one. That's when the soul arrives. Mick delivers the story line, Keith brings home the theme...."and I just can't seem to find my way..."

  • 4:05 sigh.

  • The amazing thing is that even though it may be about fn with women it has a bigger meaning in the Chorus. "I'm worried bout you and I just can't to find my way." So much soul... Oh... This song and the album Tattoo You is helping with grieving my father being sick... It's so uplifting...

  • the coke, drink, and disco of Tattoo You. Most of the lyrics are about fuckin with women. A classic.

  • hope the replay button doesn't break here.

  • hope the reply button doesn't break here.

  • HOLY SHIT!!! I can't believe I'm seeing this!!! I'm going insane with the amount of RS vids I'm just finding now!!!

  • Almost heard myself sigh!

  • look at the top right of the video...

back when you needed talent to succeed

  • look at the top right of the video...

back when you needed talent to succeed

  • 4:29 lol *dogporndogporndogporn....oh shit the cameras on me, act like you don't see it......*

  • @mackles Gotta love Bill! LOL

  • 2 F*cknuts should not even be allowed to listen to music at all!

  • a fave, gets dusted off on tour every once in a while

  • eyaeyresayresy4wy

  • g3ery

  • Keith Richards, a telecaster and a bottle of jack...is this a movie of heaven?

  • Let in peace Ronnie Wood. He's a Rolling Stones ,because Someone called Mick Jagger,Keith Richards,Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman approved it.Overall,he has survived to over 35 years of touring and partys.Only them can judge who's a Stones and who not.And with him, they've made great albums such Tattoo You,Dirty Work and overall,Voodoo Lounge.Stop criticizing.Go on,Ronnie.THE ROLLING STONES FOREVER...

  • @STFDVC You forgot 'Some Girls'.

  • @Jagermeister196

    You're completely right

  • Funny how Mick and Keith have made 'The MONEY' and the other two 'roll their eyes' at the end of the tour huh?!?

  • Funny how Mick and Keith and the other two 'roll their eyes' at the end of the tour huh?!?

  • I LOVE THOSE GUYS. FOREVER.

  • You can find a rather remarkable story about Wayne Perkins' weird audition for the Stones, when you Google: "Wayne Perkins on Bob Marley, "Hand Of Fate" and auditioning for the Stones."

  • Accompanied by Jack Daniels

  • great song from an under-rated album.

  • @bspadgett That whole second side is overlooked (save for Waiting on a Friend). I wish one could hear this instead of fucking Start Me Up or Satisfaction...like we need to hear those anymore!

  • If you are in love with someone...This song just cuts so deep...I'm sitting here, reminiscing, and crying...when this song came out, I was in love, but it was like puppy love, now it just hits home...I'm in love with a lady, and I can't express my feelings, like this song does...So tender,i can't believe The Rolling Stones!! I can relate so much to the tenderness of this song...

  • Didn't know they made a video for this. I can see why. Pretty dull video for such a great song.

  • @olflatop

It was 1981, remember? Music videos were still a fairly new format then.

  • Who does falsetto better than Jagger? NOBODY motherfucker, NOBODY!

  • @gimmeshelter1969 Didn't he nick it from Prince?

  • @gimmeshelter1969 Don covay

  • Phat bass line from Billy in this one, even if he does look like a real creeper in this video.

  • Whaaaaat! Jack an Coke! Ya, Im in 1985 or bust! ! !

  • I go totally gay for Mick when he goes into that falsetto.

  • great song

  • The Rolling Stones rock!!

  • I love Mick's style of yelling the lyrics angrily into an unresponsive Keith's right ear. Is there anything cooler in rock 'n' roll than that?

  • Mick's singing in this just cant be taught. It's pure art; pure rock 'n' roll.

  • Please rate this comment so that it goes to the top of the posts for an important reason: The awesome guitar solo is by session musician Wayne Perkins-- not Ron Wood-- who performs it in the video. Perkins deserves recognition. Thank you.

  • @chingchangchongfly It's a great solo ---thanks for alerting me to that. WP not RW. You know your stuff!!

  • @chingchangchongfly I don't think Wood could've pulled off a solo like that...Wood's addition was political, bein tight w/ Keith and all. The Stones egos really cost them in 74 when they let Mick Taylor go. Taylor and Richards played together much better than Wood/Richards. I love all these guys, they're my favorite band, but damn if Richards isn't insecure of having an equal on guitar in the band with him...If only...

  • @chingchangchongfly

Thanks so much for letting know , i was pretty sure that Wood Played that great solo at the middle of the song!!!

as well on Tops, who s Taylor the one who played it

  • @r4wmaterial nah man stones beat zeppelin sooooo much

  • @ele523 Stones beats averyone :)

  • iiiiiii

  • Gee...I wonder if they were drinking when they did this???

    lol

    I love the Stones.

  • love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • ....as essential as blood is Heart's continued Beat!!! TY!

  • this whole side of the LP is great

  • @r4wmaterial another great band, for sure.

  • Ok..loved the stones since way back and have to say Made In The Shade is my fave album..nothing technical about who played what - just my go-to album when I want to listen to them after a scotch or two...having said that songs like these from tattoo you are a different era but so frigging good..ok thats my 2 cents worth.

  • One of my favourite Stones songs, so happy i have it on vinyl!

  • personaly i dnt think the stones have made a great record since ronnie wood has been in the band

  • @SwanSong2156 you are an idiot! Dont listen to the stones, I forbid it. You are talking out of your ass, how long do you think hes been in the band? Duuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

  • @SuperBuckshot100 hes been in the band for like 35 years and ive heard all the records but nothing matchs up to the "mick talor era" for me

that idoit remark was just uncalled for

    haha:)

  • @SwanSong2156 Even though Mick Taylor started The Stones, they did not like his playing style, so the change was good to me. If you need anymore info on The Stones just ask, Ill explain The Glimmer Twins if you like :)

  • @SwanSong2156 Really, Im interested in y you think that :)

  • @SuperBuckshot100 whats there to be interested in? just my personal opion why i think mick taylor is way way better than ronnie wood

  • Was the song that set the hook for me. Long Live The Stones.

  • Was the song that set the hook for me. Long Live The Stones

  • One of the best songs the Stones ever recored. Great stuff!

  • this song is so........fantastic stones!!!

  • the period of "tattoo you" the...3-set....i mean...Mick ,Keith and Ronnie were in their ...BEST!!!

  • " Rock Gods "

  • Go go gooo... Stones never Stop!!!!

  • Fantastic Lyrics....

  • I'm only 18, but tanks to my parents I love the rolling stones! I hope they come to Holland in there last tour so that I can see them for the first and last time in real live!

  • sweet sounding solo

  • The greatest solo on a Stones record, and of course not played by Wood. Why did they not choose the solo player as their guitarist?

  • Ahh yeah!! The Glimmer Twins!

  • @TheZepmeister Finally someone who knows who the Glimmer Twins are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • too many great songs from the Stones, but this one stands high in the scale... with many others

  • im love this song.....for my sool

  • The entire second side of this album is magic. Their last masterpiece.

  • Best Song In The World

  • vi amo troppo....

  • Great track off their last credible album,it all went downhill from Tattoo You :(

  • I've always loved this song...one of my favorites by them!! I'm glad it's on u-tube! :)

  • TATTOO YOU the BEST album EVER!!!!

  • @Keithaholic1 Especially side two!

  • Wikipedia says Wayne Perkins played the solo on this song- he did the "Black and Blue" album with them too

  • Best song, love that guitar playin - all the right notes at random - style.

You gotta just love this lip sync, Mick and 'Keef' very funny, not even tryin to get the words right, LMFAO!

Seriously, NO ONE IN THE WORLD IS COOLER THAN THESE DUDES! The Stones are true artists.

  • Great song, awful video. I hate it when bands lip sync, especially great bands like the Stones.

  • @radbradlee

I love the lip sync. It's just them goofing off.

Charlie according to Mick always hates videos.

    I love them.

    Ben

  • Great Guitar solo by Mick Taylor....I agree , the last great stones album

  • Always loved this tune

  • @pekoe67 Last great one was Voodoo Lounge

  • Side 2 of Tattoo You is epic Stones. Can't believe I'm still into this album (yes, "album") 29 years later .....

  • I'm a big fan of Tattoo You and I like this song. But if you really listen to the melody it almost sounds like a gospel tune. I bet you could change some of the words to this song and make it a gospel hit..

  • I'm showing my age....side two of Taltto You is just incredible....great, great.....it really holds up in the scheme of things of what is The Rolling Stones!!!

  • great song

  • This is off my favorite album of all tiime TATTOO YOU. I became a STONES fan in 1981

  • like bill & charlies cameo roles ;) i thought they were wearing black suits,.,.,.,....

  • Wayne Perkins is on lead guitar. "Worried About You" was originally produced in 1975 for Black and Blue. Mick Taylor had already left and Ronnie Wood hadn't been hired yet. Perkins was a leading contender to replace Taylor, but Woods ended up with the job.

  • Cool info!

  • @GX2Photography Yeah....this guy is write about that. Mick was auditioning guitarists during the Black and Blue album. He was having them audition on songs they were putting on the album. He ended up keeping creative control over those auditions and putting those leads into songs. Worked out well. Great lead. Still miss Mick Taylor tho.

  • Mick Taylor I thought played the solo on this when they recorded it. Anyone know? Doesn't sound anything to me like Ronnie Wood would play .....

  • That solo sounds an awful lot like Mick Taylor.

  • bottle of whiskey on his paino :)

  • Keef!!!

  • ke buena cancion muy buena

  • mick my idol

  • i don't think i EVER saw this on vh1 or mtv.

  • @KOSMICKEN09 maybe you didn't get to catch this on vh1 or mtv because it was concidered as a deep cut. Radio staions and music chanels don't play them.

  • well i know the song i just don't have any memory of this being on tv is all....i have pretty much every studio lp on my ipod.

  • @KOSMICKEN09 I am tipsy but I will show something. Ready. Look up Sister Morphine. Look up Down Home Girl. Look up Out of Control

  • fuck you!

  • What is your problem? This is a music site no need for anger. If necessary, go to sports. Thank you, and please do not ever go to a musci site with anger, for music folk are gentle.

  • thank you! i go to sports! i go fuck! kiss!

  • yeha i like the expresion of wymman like saying "this guy it`s really crazy" refference to jagger

  • Mick Jagger is very aware of how strange he is and he Thrives on it. This videos is a perfect example of that.

  • mick must be threatning someone the same way he did it w brian's jones, he gave all the clues of how he was gonna be killed in LADY JANES THAT HE MEANT LADY JONES. IN HIS FACE HE SAID YOUR STATION IS RIGHT. YUR SWIMMING POOL... SWEET MARIE WILL EASE . DRUGS WILL HELP. LADY DID..... ANNE WOHLEN .

  • ok mick jager didn't kill brian jones........lol thats kinda funny

  • watch that big big mouth..damn!:D...but he is coolest man alive...well mick jagger o keith richards...they are both cool:)

  • great song

but is the second version of you can't always...

  • There's a little controversy with this video. Apparently, the song was a left over from the It's Only Rock and Roll sessions. Some claim that the Stones used Mick Taylor's solo in the middle of the song. Interesting because it does sound more like Mick T than Ronnie. Also, check Ronnie out...he looks a bit uncomfortable! Great song either way!! Love the Stones!

  • unfortunatly, Wayne Perkins plays the solo.

  • LOL, jowahl, I should have read your post before putting mine up! :-)

  • agree with you: the solo sounds more like mick than ron. but "officially" wayne perkins plays here ... i'm also confused. always thought this is one of the best solos ron ever played, but i'm not sure.

  • Hi Trajan.

This song was recorded post Mick T for the Black and Blue sessions. The soloist isn't ronnie, it's a session guitarist, whose name was Wayne Perkins.

  • LOVE THIS SONG BUT THE BEST PART OF THIS VIDEO IS BILL WYMAN'S EXPRESSION AT 4:30. lol

  • best stones song EVER

  • this is from the tattoo you album 1981,can t belibe it was recorded about 6 years ago amongst the black and blue album in munich germany, great falsetto voice by mick jagger

  • Comment removed

  • after a LONG DAY this sounds GREATTTT

  • p.s. Keith is a beautiful man !

  • This song stands up to anything the Stones ever did and the Stones are the f*cking greatest f*cking rock 'n' roll band of all time.

Just had to share that. I feel better now.

  • @pekoe67 Yeah yeah the best EVER

  • QUE TEMAZO, Y QUE VIEDEO DIOS MIO!

  • They came behind Bob "I can't drive a Motorcycle" Dylan and Elvis "Change the Channel" Elvis? I can understand the Beatles, after all, they are the "PC" Choice. And Steven van Zandt can suck it: no good songs since 72? OK, "a few" as he said. Some of their best songs were after 72. I suppose he never heard of "Some Girls". He must have been mourning then or something...

  • Comment removed

  • WANYE Perkins not Carl Perkins you brain tumor. And he went uncredited on this album, much like the great Sonny Rollins who played sax on "Waiting on a Friend" and a few others.

He obviously used Keith's rig though.

  • los rollingas se me van a venir encima pero por k MICK no se dedicaba a tokar algun instrumento ya k pareceia bueno tokando algunos instrumentos

  • porque tiene una voz impresionante

  • You bet and in the cupboard even betta ha

  • Is that Jack Daniels whiskey? COOL!!!
