  • went to see these at norwich uea mid 80s,bring back good memories

  • This is the only version with the extended intro that I have found.

  • Brings back good memories of 1984 when I first heard this, thanks for posting.

  • Fantastic, another of my all time faves. Thanks for posting. Still got this on 12", it was one of the first remixes I got, long before remixes became popular. At least this one was done by the original producer - the brilliant, sadly missed, Martin Rushent. Anyway, I'm over analysing - this is just too good a song to spoil with too many words. Always lifts my spirits (I'll shut up now). Oh, forgot to say wonderfully melodic bass guitar!!

  • @themore09 spot on....I can almost mentally do the exact dance.....right about the bass, but when the guitars come in about 2:35 then its in overdrive!

  • Had this on an old cassette and it has always stuck in my head for the university/post university era of my life. Never knew who did this one. Altered Images came up as a band in a book I'm reading: Ska'd For Life by The Specials bass player Horace Panter (get it man, fantastic account of being a young musician in England beginning in the late 70's and life on the road playing gigs - imagine what it was like to tour and open for The Clash). Yeah, I'm happy now too. Thanks for posting.

  • Had a cr#p day today... feel better now ;)

  • LOL This has got to come from some Nina Hartley movie!

  • Produced by Martin Rushent (Human League, Pete Shelley, The Stranglers...)

  • A year before a friend of mine was killed, she gave me this album while we were at LSU in 1981. A year later she was randomly shot going to a party in NOLA and i still have this album! Thanks for posting. Great memories just flooded back.
