  • Nice playing. When does this amp start to break up? I heard it will start to break up with the volume set at 4. Have you had any problems with this amp?

  • Rock N Roll...

  • What are your tone settings?

  • I think bass and treble were at 5 and the verb on 2-3

  • That Tele sounds great. What kind of strings do you use? Awesome...

  • where cani learn more about the homebrew?

  • It's a USA Customs body (3lbs.) and an Allparts neck. Came together magically unlike my superstrat that took several necks and bodies to finally sound good.

  • Do you have the huge Allparts neck? I have a super light swamp ash body with the big Allparts neck. Almost the exact same tone! No kidding, I have looking for awhile on youtube. Mine has a big midrange tone. Mine also has '52 RI pickup[s, which I want to replace. What size frets are you using?

  • Yeah, it's huge! Not sure about the fret size but it's whatever came standard on that neck.

  • Nice little wing!

  • yay buddy. heres to guys with more shit than they know what to do with.

  • Man that sounds pretty damned good. How much do those Jensen speakers run? I'm actually looking to move into a DRRI when I sell a couple of my guitars.

  • Thanks! I picked mine up for about $140 (I think). I was too impatient to wait for a Weber and I liked it everytime I played one in the store.

  • All the new DRRI amps, for the last few years, have came from the factory with the Jensen RI speaker. Mine did.

  • Yeah, they now have the C12-something (100-watt ceramic) speaker, not the P12N (50-watt alnico) speaker. Trust me, there is quite a difference!

  • I agree...at least in terms of having a big alnico magnet behind it.

I can hear it here.I had Tophat 15 watter with a celestion blue and didn't realize just ow much of the feel was in the speaker until I tried different ceramic Celestions.

Ceramic tone is punchy and stiff,40oz alnico gives a looser chunkiness. The notes spit at you when you push it.
