What an excellent cover! So many PF covers fail to do justice to the originals, but this one not only does that, it actually adds something new and novel. It's pretty unique to offer something new and worth listening to when one is referencing the sacred Pink Floyd canon. I know it's totally you and your own style and whatnot, but my take is "Jeff Buckley got together with the guys from Tool and dominated the world as a Floyd cover band, and the world's hunger for Floyd was sated."

It's a harmonica microphone. No effect. Jack white uses one live (in fact, he had one installed into his guitar :D) but some artists use a harmonica mic to create that AM radio effect (best way i can describe it). move from one mic to the other, with some delay, and u get that effect.

I agree with maese2000, the message of the song is lost in this version. The intensity is meant to be speared between the sung words, so we can imagine whats going on for ourself, as what psychadelical rock is all about. Imagination. This version steals all the imagination.

It's a good cover, but so much is missing. The bass is slapping that thing pretty good, but every other instrument does not do it's part in this song.

Pink Floyd has been my favorite band since 1982 and I have collected together an amazing

collection of their music. I was not impressed

by "Australian Pink Floyd" (the guy cannot sing)

and other Pink Floyd covers do not do the music justice (except maybe Les Claypool). I have not even heard of Braintoy before today.

This is fucking horrible. why does every singer today have to sing the same goddamn way. it takes away so much meaning from the song. because, instead of great artists writing new songs, we have crap artists taking great songs and changing them to meet today's standards. this sounds like if metallica and fallout boy teamed up to make a techno punk band. the key boardist in the video is damn good. but the guitarist gives it a weird feel,like emptiness. the drummer is good for the most part.
