    Singapur (dpa) - Der Airbus A380 ist zu seinem Premierenflug bei Singapore Airlines gestartet. Um kurz nach 2 Uhr deutscher Zeit hob das rund 500 Tonnen schwere Flugzeug in Singapur ab und nahm Kurs auf Sydney. Der Start wurde von dem Applaus hunderter Schaulustiger begleitet. An Bord des größten Passagierflugzeugs der Welt sind rund 470 Passagiere. Am Sonntag geht der A380 in den Linienverkehr zwischen Singapur und Sydney.

  • It's scheduled for it's first service with Singapore Airlines in 2007. Subsequent routes for Singapore Airlines may include the Singapore--San Francisco route via Hong Kong, as well as direct flights to Paris and Frankfurt. Check her out on wikipedia(dot)org

  • i dont want to think of what the lines are going to be like, with that aircraft, spend a day in immigration trying to get to your hotel,,, just imagine after a 14-16 hour flight having to stand in line for about 3-4 hours

  • the first flight of the first singapore airline Airbus A380 will be to London heathrow with the new cabin design that already fitted in their B777-300ER and the first commercial flight by A380 ( Singapore airline will be the first ) will be in this coming september from singapore to London heathrow! ;)

  • Nwaklm, apparently you know nothing about Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airlines mainly consists of Boeing planes in its fleet. Business is business. Whichever company produces better goods gets the customers.
