@bgberger2 Actually, they cut out the LIVER of the buffalo in that scene, not the tongue. They are nowhere near its head, and since tongues usually reside in mouths, and mouths usually reside in heads, you are therefore incorrect. YOU need to get it straight there pal. Like I suggested before, you should re-watch the movie... but it sounds like that option isn't spiritually viable to you, judging by your reaction to the suggestion. Trust me, the movie is worth watching again & again!

Mr. "TheUnNerved". First I must tell you that I am no "Yank". I am a Brazilian, live in the city of São José dos Campos, SP. I am very fond of the New World history, particularly the USA, and the Civil War is my favorite subject. My hobby is firearms, and I am very well informed about the guns of that time. The muskets were the primary weapon of the war, but repeaters like the Spencer carbine and the Henry rifle (which is the one used by Dunbar throughout the movie) were favorited by officers
