Mosami Obari is great, fatal fury is one of my favorites PERIOD. The first anime vhs I bought was voltage fight gowcaizer which was back in the late 90's. The state of anime shure has changed a lot sense then, it's soooooo trendy now, and it seems like the industry has forgotten all about the voilent, action packed, thrillers that made it popular. Instead what you get is generic mediocrity, in most cases.

Legacy of Kain is the shit. ALL HAIL RAZIEL! Metal gear solid is also really cool

As for Genesis games. Have you played any of the Shinobi games? Like Shinobi 3 Return of The Ninja Master.

Yeah, I love the Legacy of Kain series. Kain and Raziel were really great characters. Metal Gear Solid were amazing games too. The 2nd game was my favourite.

I remember I played a Shinobi game on the genesis but I can't remember which one though.

Because I just played some genesis games on my emulator that I've never played before and man have I've been missing out but I think the best genesis I've played so far is Shinobi 3. It's an awesome side scroller.

Toshiki Hirano is a favorite of mine too. Though I know him more for his work on Dangaioh and the Iczer series.

As a character designer he can draw some pretty hot anime babes too.
