  • is all graphic card same in size? my case is 16inch long.

  • What? No part 4, what the heck?

And not everyone buys the same "tower chassis/case"!

I have a Antec Three Hundred w/o Power Supply or fans!

And they don't have the rubber grommets for flush, tight cable management, so make a video with a Antec Three Hundred chassis regarding cable management.

    Here's my specs:

Antec Three Hundred "mid-tower chassis" w/o PSU or included case fans!

    GA-MA770T-UD3 rev.1.4 MB!

    and a Ultra LSP 750 Watt Power Supply/ non-modular!

    Cable-manage that!

    I need to know!

  • SSD's ARE AWESOME! I KNOW BECAUSE I'VE GOT ONE!

  • xd:) the mouse on 0:59

  • why has this video got low fps?

  • I don't think you need a 850 watt psu, you might have gotten away with a 650

  • @TJTutorails Your system runs cooler when you use a higher wattage, note how I said system, not CPU.

  • @AnguisMortem No one mentioned, anything to do with a CPU?

  • @TJTutorails I just wanted to make sure that you knew, and didn't get a 1200 watt PSU because you thought that your CPU temp wouldn't rise above 20 C.

  • I5 2500k at 3.3 ghz quad core turbo mode 3.8 ghz

Ati radeon hd 6950 2 gb

4 gb ram at 1333 mhz

Would this be enough to run crysis maxed out 30 fps+ at 1920x1080? And when I say 30 fps+ I mean will it ever go under 30 fps?

  • @expertnoobFTW Youll get around 60 fps

  • @expertnoobFTW Easily, my friend has a 4850 and he runs above 30 fps on max settings.

  • @expertnoobFTW The real question is.... Can it run Minecraft? o_o'

  • @expertnoobFTW You may wish to unlock the 6950 into a 6970. Its quite the hardware boost. Google it.

    No problem running crysis though.

  • and i already i have LCD monitor with DVD drive ,,key board,,mouse .

secondly is my configuration is correct ? bcs i am new to this and this is my first one

how much a pentium 4 2.8 GHz , 1 GB ram ,built in 32mb Graphic card , CD drive how much will it sale for my old pc

  • I'm currently picking out parts for a pc right now. First build, kind of a novice but coming into my own I think. This is what I've got so far

    ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 mobo

    AMD Phenom II 1100T cpu

    x2 Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3

2TB Western Digital WD2002FYPS RE4-GP HDD - might do ssd instead

    Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 2GB

Corsair H80 cpu Liquid cooling or H70

Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Champ PCIe Sound Card

    Thermaltake TRX-750M TR2 Modular PSU

gpu is 11" gonna need a big case. Any thoughts?

  • @kickit246 you will need a bigger case for water cooling,i have the same motherboard =D no need in getting a soundcard...

  • @kickit246 When are you building this? AMD is releasing Bulldozer CPUs in the next couple of months, which should, in theory, blow the Phenom II out of the water. I'd consider holding off and buying one of those and a compatible AM3+ motherboad.

As for buying an SSD; they're good for OS and program files, but you'll still want at least a 500GB drive for games, files and music or whatever. SSDs are fast, but small and expensive.

Finally, the case is up to you. Most branded cases will work fine

  • @TheAlbinoBoar Hey thank you for the reply! I might end up ordering this around october possibly, I think I might hold off until the new cpu's come out, that sounds awesome. You don't think my current motherboard would support it though? I was really liking that motherboard I picked out lol. I think I've found a good case. Also that other guy was saying I don't need a soundcard, do you agree with that? Any input on my build is greatly appreciated, I've just been winging it on my own so far. Ty.

  • @kickit246 I personally don't use a sound card. Unless you're doing music/sound mixing or you want absurd 3D surround sound, or you're just a snob with sound stuff, what you get with your motherboard is usually fine. I actually do a lot of sound mixing for music and games, and I've never needed a sound card.

If you want surround sound for gaming, too, I'd recommend (if your monitor and graphics card support this) using HDMI to your monitor and using the monitor's audio output

  • @TheAlbinoBoar Hmm, ok cool thank! I was thinking about upgrading to surround sound next summer. I picked up a set of Turtle Beach's the other day (DPX21) and they've got built in surround sound, but I think I'll hold off. Sound cards are expensive lol. I may do that with an HDMI. I made sure my monitor supports that and I'm pretty sure my gfx card does too (Probably getting Sapphire Radeon 6970). Anyway, thank you for the reply, I really appreciate all of them like this.

  • hii i need some help

my budget - less than $350

    AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition - $90

    Socket AM3 - Gigabyte 870A-UD3 - $ 100

    ADATA 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz x 2 = 4 GB - $ 30

    Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB - $ 60

    coolmaster case - around $ 10-20

so can anyone tell which graphic card i chose with less price i am ok with 512mb

& any one know price of OCZ GameXStream - for power supply ..what u guys think of this PC

  • @9wrongnumber HIS H467QR1GH Radeon HD 4670 1GB is a good card for your pc

  • @skippyisabamf

thanks ^^ if i need more help can i msg u in personal and what u do in real life ? do u know more about PC ?

  • @9wrongnumber Just save your money until you have atleast 700 bucks. Seriously its not worth it ...$350 is extremely low quality comp lol

  • @9wrongnumber u need to spend more money

  • @9wrongnumber Well, from my calculations, not a lot. $50-$60 isn't much to get a decent graphics card for gaming. You might be able to get an ATI HD 5570 - which is actually a pretty decent card. You'll be able to play most games on that with low or medium graphics on a not-too-large screen. You'll also have no trouble watching hi-res movies and stuff.

My little brother needed a basic card, and I gave him one of those and he's happily playing Fallout 3 as I'm typing. That's my recommendation

  • 1:02 thumbs up if u noticed a cursor :D

  • 10 people were trying to build a HOUSE.......

  • Very important question im planning on building my own pc and I would really like to know if I need to use the video output on my gpu or can I still use the video output on my motherboard.

  • @xHouseyx your GPU video output will be much better since it's a separate GPU, that's the whole point of getting a GPU - better performance. If you connect it to the Motherboard the performance will be much worse and the GPU will not be used at all as it will use chipset integrated graphics.

  • Heres 2 questions, is it really important to wear a wristband while doing this?

And do you HAVE to use Thermal Paste on Third Party CPU Coolers (non-stock).

Because im getting the Hypermaster TX3 CPU Cooler and i dont want my Cpu Frying out. My CPU Is the AMD QuadCore Phenom X4 850 3.3GHz.

  • 10 people preffer macs

  • that PSU is too strong for that PC , but your choice :)

  • @yoiamabadboy well he does test a lot of different components so with a bigger psu he has a wider range of products he can test

  • wath is the name of the grapihc card ??

  • @bananarana1 Radeon 5770

  • @AppleFunKid

he said that the one he hooks up in this video is the one he is not going to use

  • @ERIK5564 3:23 he used it.

  • @xXxasdzas yes he used the 5770 but the gpu he is installing in the video is not the 5770 that he is using, listen to what he says in the video

  • Your video quality dropped significantly between the last video and this one.

  • you know what I love about building a pc tho?...you can easily wow common users lol....seriously, because to a common typical user, this looks complex as hell but in fact....it's so easy it's like playing with lego lol

  • @Virus2020 Lol so true

  • big enough card for ya GEEZ

  • @kerneykid1 take a look at a ASUS MATRIX GTX580, now that is a big card

  • learn about virtual machines

    watch?v=Pu8Dfc_8HGE

  • This case comes with a tempeature display, on the front. In order to get it to display tempearatures you need to place three things in areas of the PC. Where would one place them?

  • just left a comment criticizing the forgotten installation of the video card... and I apolagize. I guess I should have watched the full series before hand... but it just seemed like you were forgetting about it because it was already installed. I understand that you did it to keep all of the wiring in one segment. Thanks for a fairly thorough build guide.

  • Please someone help me. I have a intel DX58S02, a i7 processor, 2gb nvidia quadro grapgics card,Revolution 85+ 1020w PSU, an lg bludisc player & a 2tb hitachi. I put all these devices into a frisbie case and it powers on but I get no monitor output. I connected everything and had someone look at it and he told me that it's the wrong case. Can it be that the case can be responsible for me not seeing anything on my monitor? the graphic card is in the Primary slot and the 2x6 pin connected to it.

  • @MrPrGustavo how can it be the wrong case if everything fitted?

  • @philinmotion My friend thought that there where other things that needed to be plugged in to the motherboard that makes it function most properly from a case and fix my monitor output problem. I looked it up as hard as I can and I saw no logic in this so It's no longer a concern to me. Now I need to figure out what's the problem between the graphics card and the motherboard to why I'm not getting any monitor output.

  • @MrPrGustavo you need to go into your bios (hit del or perhaps f1 at startup) and look for an option that disables your motherboards onboard video. That might be your hold up.

  • @MrPrGustavo Lol, your case has nothing to do with it.

  • @Haroids Thanks, thats what I thought. Then I must know why I'm not seeing anything on my monitor when I'm connecting my Graphics card just like this tutorial is showing me and connecting the power (2x6 Pin) to it. I'm building my Computer from scratch just like in this tutorial. Anyone please help.

  • @MrPrGustavo Just troubleshoot it. Do you hear any beeps? Do you have speakers hooked up in order to hear beeps? If not, does your motherboard have onboard graphics? If so, use it for now until you install your graphics card and the drivers. Try using a spare graphics card if your motherboard doesn't have onboard graphics.

If this didn't help, go to tomshardware (google it) and go on their forum and ask for help there. THey'd be more than willing to help you out.

  • @Haroids It doesn't have onboard graphics but isn't my Nvidia Quadro 4000 a graphics cards?as I trouble shooted it I've gotten 3 beeps, no beeps, and just recently it shuts off on me in 1 sec after Turning it on. I'm thinking about borrowing a graphic card to see if it does anything positive. Thank you so much for leading me to tomshardware. I posted my question in the most accurate Forum subject to my situation. All I can do is stand by and see if anyone will respond.

  • why only 128gb why not 500 or a 1tb

  • @framo321 this video was in 2010 i bet 1tb still cost a lot more.

  • @iSteamPunk1 It was probably a SSD. If you don't know what it is, it's a Solid State Drive. Like a hard drive, but with no moving parts and it's A LOT faster. They're also very expensive, so they don't come in huge sizes, explaining the 128GB.

  • nice mouse

  • whats a SSD

  • @aeroaa2 Solid State Drive. Basicly a hard drive with no moving parts and better transfer speed

  • @aeroaa2 Or you could see it as a giant USB stick that you use as a HDD ^^

  • sry, i mean motherboard.

  • Thx for the info, it works now, I didnt have any jumpers on the keyboard.

  • Someone please help me. I'v built a PC but when i switch it on, i turns off after about 30 seconds, i dont get a display on the screen.

  • @Doped2k7 try installing an operating system. That might help

  • @Doped2k7 did you put windows 7 installation disk in the optical drive? that's always a start

  • @Doped2k7 Like thejspace302 said, get a operating system and install it. If you don't have any operating system, computer can't turn on.

  • stupid commercials...

  • @gokkie44 You should get simple adblock for IE or adblock for Google Chrome/AdBlockPlus for Firefox or whatever browser you use.

  • hey, im building a computer rig, and my cpu is a AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4Hgz x 512kb L2 Chache 125w. When i first, start up the computer, will it be running on window's vista or what? someone pls reply. ty

  • @SteezyNutz You need to BUY WINDOWS and install it yourself.

  • @Fowtowsjop oh really?! oh dam. alright thanks!

  • What is that graphic card called???

  • @markhogsvagen 5770

  • @slfviirus Ok thanks!

  • @markhogsvagen Don't get that video card. You should go for a 58 series, preferably a 5870

  • @ConfuzedSushi I actually have the 5870 in my gaming rig but was going to buy a budget graphic card for my brothers PC =) I am now wating for Nvidias new series =D

  • @markhogsvagen No fail, I meant a 6870. It's a great value, and runs at a low temperature.

  • @ConfuzedSushi Cool, my brothers pc only has a 450W psu though...

  • I think you skipped many steps for first time builders, but overall it is a good guide

  • @Aristowi ya do you know a guide that doesn't skip steps??

  • @trema12345 watch?v=uUY0tP5jYIo totally step by step tutorial, probably the best in utube

  • I have a 600w power unit that I will be using to power 6gb RAM DDR3, 1 fan on the top of the case and one for the hard drives, an Asus ATI Radeon HD 5670 and an Intel Core i7 950 that I will not be overclocking and using the stock CPU cooler, will this be enough to power it all?

  • @MrLog101 i need that answer also. anyone?

  • @remix696 Nevermind i've finnished it now and it runs like a beast :)

  • @remix696 with these specks it is just ok i would say. these 1000watt psu monsters are onely for 4way sli overclocked to 6ghz monster processors systems. today 700 watt is enough for every "normal" highend system, even with 2way sli and gooood overclocking.

  • @headshooter44 ah gotcha, i have this dell 720 and its a 1000 power watt and i was concerned but realized that im not using it full unless its running full in idle i guess its pretty low. preciate the reply though.

  • @TrustThePsnGames dont cheap out.

  • Great Tutorial, by the way nice choice on the NZXT Phantom case ;) they are invaluable when building a very high performance PC.

  • Wrapping it up with a few more tips and instruction on installation on storage components. Great overview of all the steps to throwing one together. Check out more of PCwizkidstechtalks on reviews, overclocking, and etc. Thanks for everything wizkids!

  • @TrustThePsnGames im building a decent one for that price :) its one that can run the latest games :D

  • @TrustThePsnGames Yes you can, I did that.

  • thats some nice computer man

  • /watch?v=1L_M7uvn69A Only watch that if your pro with computers

  • can we see the bootup?

  • Can you please donate that system to me im to poor to make a pcand buy one D:. Please I love gaming.

  • @yoyoyokiller i feel bad.... :(

  • I think that 850 W is to much for that pc... 550 should do just fine!

  • gettin a gaming pc tmrw specs below:

    Cooler Master HAF 922

    Asus M4A77T

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition

    Mushkin Silverline 8GB PC 10666 1333mhz

EVGA GeForce GT 240 OR ATI Radeon HD 5570

    Thermaltake TR2 430W Power Supply

    Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 7200 16mb

please criticize? please also tell me if anything doesnt go together

  • @Lordlinkthe1 how much is this gonna come out to cause im building a computer aswell and i noticed that im going to be using the same cooler master haf 922?

  • @iRandomistic this is coming to about 505 dollars CAD with mail in rebates from canadacomputers but without the mail in rebates this is about 580

  • @Lordlinkthe1 hmm you should get a better video card like a GTX 460 or a radeon 6870 with a $50 Ultra 650 watt PSU

  • @michaeljacksonator hey i just bought a laptop instead of building the pc because i got more for less and i didnt have to have the conscious of messing up the build :D

  • @Lordlinkthe1 the power supply is big enough best on going for some overkill cos psu's do lose there wattage over the years and also a good quality one cos if it goes pop your whole pc goes pop too

  • @Lordlinkthe1

You should go for a $50 500 watt psu that has at least one 6pin and also go for a 250 gts or a HD 5770 powercolor at newegg.com for $119. Which requires a 6 pin to power it.

  • Comment removed

  • the GPU are way too sexy....

  • @yungstar49 it might not work because your monitor might not support VGA. try buying an HDMI cable

  • @yungstar49 did you check that everything was compatible to each other?

  • 128gb? lol

  • How much money you spent for this all???

  • @llaauurriiss2 id assume he is sponsored. check out his site there is no way he could afford all that

  • @temesgen54 but MYBE PAYPAL HACK just joking......

    but mybe

  • Hey wizkid, i was wondering why people use video cards, on cpus that have integrated gpus, such as a core i3 with a gpu @ 733, and their graphics card at 650... is it because ram usage?

  • @UltimaOmegaX317 dedicated video cards are much better to have than onboard stuff. like say your cpu failed, now you have no graphics either. much worse. also dedicated vid cards can put M U C H more computing power for graphics, cause that is what its DEDICATED for, hence dedicated graphics card.......

  • @Randomshit1353 So basically a gpu card is better anyways, but if u were to only use onboard gpus the core i series would be the best bet right? (i am aware that not all i series have gpu's)

  • @UltimaOmegaX317 yeah or find a mobo with built in graphics (might be better than graphics from processor) or try AMD they might have one like that. BTW the difference between AMD and intel is like the difference between coke and pepsi, there is basicly none, except pepsi (amd) is cheaper and better sometimes. PM me for the best pc setup, ill send 2 one using AMD and one using intel. (basicly same except processor, and small diff in max RAM allowed and type)

  • @Randomshit1353 Lol. thanks, i know how to build computers and i know how to make some great builds too, i was just curious on why (this topic) people do it.

  • @Randomshit1353 Lol. thanks, i know how to build computers and i know how to make some great builds too, i was just curious on why (this topic) people do it. maybe we could trade build specs hehe...

  • what case are you using in this video?

  • hahaha, ur mouse is in the middle of the video!

  • you have a rocket pc :D + SSD

  • @NexusPvESTALKER the correct term for multiGPU with nvidia is SLI and 3-Way SLI

    Thank you, Good day Sir.

  • idk my motherboard i couldnt find it in device manager.

  • @dan91121 Motherboards aren't normally in device manager. Easiest way, if you bought your PC from a retailer like best buy, is to google your computer's model and to find the motherboard. Otherwise, you can use a tool like CPU-Z to find your motherboard's model.

  • @XeReviews bestbuy sells crappy computers, i baught it from the dell site, if i baught it from bestbuy theyd charge like 1k for it instead of 800 bucks,

  • @dan91121

i have never liked best buy, besides, best buy is not really a computer store, more so an electronics store.

  • o and 4gb ddr3 1336mhz..

  • why do u have a 850w pwr supply for vid card that only needs like 600w. u dont really need a cooler if ur useing anyhting in the i5 600 series. btw how fast is the DDR3 u have? is it like bottum line at like 800mhz or more at the 1300 and up? here are my specs. i cut through more of the vid. Specs. intel core i5 750 quad core @ 2.67 ghz lynnfield, Nvida gt 220 1gb graphics card, a 300W power supply, and some tower that seventy bucks.

  • @dan91121 are you ok? did you get dropped on you head as a baby?? you might want to go to the doctor and get that checked out dumbass.power supplys degrade over time and maybe he is going to add another 5770. no but really you should go to the doctor im a little worried.

  • do pentium 4 power supply's has the powerchord 6 pin? so that i can buy sappire 4650 ?

  • you make this seem too easy!

  • @ChocolatersPancake SSD's use Serial ATA lol.

  • OMG!!! can i have that V8? i heard there brilliant!!!!

  • im nearlly finishing with my now

  • 1:33 Whats with the cursor over the video? Did you just screen record your own video instead of converting it for editing?

  • only 128GB??

  • @cripplewarlord its solid state....that 128 gig is worth more than 200 dollars.

  • For the price of the Diamond ATI Radeon HD 5770, you could've gotten a better graphics card, I'm not trying to sound rude or anything, btw... But those cards have had a lot of problems in the past for people, and as much as the cost, you could've easily subbed it for a better card.

  • That computer is sexy....... Very nice, your definitely a " PC Wiz Kid"

  • will this be any good for gaming?

    585W Power Supply

    GIGABYTE GeForce GTS 450

BIOSTAR TA785G3HD AM3 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Patriot Viper II Sector 7 Edition 6GB

AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition

    1TB HDD

  • @lazylewbob Should run fine for most games.

  • That GPU is almost as big as my cock.

  • @miKitAgE thats one tiny psu, can it even charge an ipod xD

  • ewww a v8 cooler. hehe nice tut still.

  • yo, absolutely brilliant tutorials - went from zero knowledge to an operational self built in like 3 days thanks to you. it hasn't even caught fire yet.

  • lol nice green mouse pointer

  • LOL, i thought that was my cursor 1:00

  • The mouse in the middle at @1:00

  • @Benatako a ssd is a hard drive and the one he used is a very good one too :D

  • how do u make youre vid intros.?

  • Is it ok to have the HDD lined up vertically?

  • is 850W PSU an overkill?

  • @LoneSilentKiller no, 1600w is overkill

  • @pcgames234 it is overkill, a 600w would be enough to power all that.

  • @LoneSilentKiller yes it is overkill a 600w would be more than enough for those components.

  • is 850W PSU an overkill?

  • What kind of a video card is that, that u used as an example in the beginning?

  • @mavis996 4890

  • hey wizkid do u own a ps3 if u do u should do a hdd replacement tutorial just an idea

  • how much it cost?

  • u r a good teacher !!!!!

  • @Thel3ad he obviously isn't a grammar teacher.
