Mac MediaCast 007: iPhoto 08 Photo Editing Tutorial

i have iphoto and like it's basic features but i would like to edit pics even more, is there a program i can buy besides photo shop that'll edit pics really good on the macbook?

Open your photo, click edit on the bottom, then click rotate, then click done to save your changes!

open it on preview then go tools then rotate it right or left..

Is there any kind of copy and paste deal..For example I use a very LOW TECH program that you might know about called WINDOWS PAINT LOL and I like to edit photos I took a simple picture off the internet of a desert road and turned it into incredible action scene with any thing you can imagine but with the lighting effects and showdowing you can do with THIS program would make a BIG differance as long as I can edit things from other photos onto the existing photo ie.CARS bombs etc.
