It's sad to see hockey become all about the goals and saves. There's so much more to the game than that. I had always hoped that the NHL wouldn't end up like the NBA, where defence doesn't matter, but obviously, that's not the case.

how do arguements manage to break out over a top play hockey video...anyone else thing commenting is kinda pointless and all it does is give people a chance to take advantage of people through pressing buttons hundreds of miles away from eachother

This sort of ignorance about the game is just as upsetting as the game becoming all about the goal scoring and flashy moves. There's more to the game than violence as well. Oh, and 5 min for fighting is a major, not a minor pinalty. Minor penalties are 2 min.

It's sad to see hockey become all about the goals and saves. There's so much more to the game than that. I had always hoped that the NHL wouldn't end up like the NBA, where defence doesn't matter, but obviously, that's not the case.

I think that the reason there are no Montreal Canadiens highlights is because RDS, a French language station, owns the broadcasting rights for all Canadiens games and the commentary associated with the highlights would be in French.

this is a disgrace for Montreal Canadiens, who've won 24 league championships. 11 goals in two games since december 16th (against pittsburgh and buffalo) and the NHL doesn't have the decency to put one in the final cut. SHAME!

thats a terrible way of 'defending' the american teams. theres only 6 canadian teams (vs 24 american teams). its always going to be more likely that an american team wins the cup.
but who cares what country the team is from that wins? theres a mix of nationalities on every team that help contribute to a teams victory.
