David wrote this song for his beloved brother Adam while his was battling brain cancer... he went on Idol 3 weeks after he passed ... dedicated it to him and gave all proceeds to find a cure for this horrendous disease... heart tugging and beautiful.

I love David. He's so strong for being

able to get up and perform that song on

stage. It was such a great performance btw. His vocals were amazing and you could just feel the emotion. And the tears in his eyes at the end ... so touching.

(in reply to ilieizyan) Yep. Season 7 finale was awesome- and the judges were content with either contestant winning (a rare case.) Also, AI has been picking favorites lately- example: Cook was (as far as I know) the only AI to be filmed in an AI promo commercial. This year, i heard a trophy was given to the winner. Really, really unfair to past idols, i think.
