nah they will add all that stuff u were talking about SuCKeRPunCH187. but they'll do that in a firmware update no need to wait and buy they new iphone if there is 1 apple will update it with flash there has been a confirmation apple is just doing this for market strategy that;s why there such a good company so just get the new iPhone 3G and wait for apple to update the firmware =D
ok well first off to Art738's comment well defiantly yes, you should still buy the phone. you can jailbreak it if u want but i wouldn't just yet because theere is a vid camera app u cant get when u jailbreak it but if u get the iPhone soon id wait till the jailbreak is out of its beta form
but the camera may only b 2-MP but its really high res, i don;t know why but the camera takes very good quality pictures just like the camera's on the MacBook's there's 2 mp as well but they take great pics, so appl rpob used the same camera. but yes iPhone is a definate must have i havemine, apple just send the new 2.1 update, its fucking mazing i get full bars of 3G network witch i would only get 3/4 of bars, so they major improved on that. Also battery life is better + new features were added
hey didnt know ppl would comment. and yea it was my first time making a vid, esp a review 1. but yea i would defiantly recommend getting this phone, who cares about it doesnt record video, third party app designers are gonna make some type of recorder for the iPhone, and there are allways gonna b software and firmware updates from apple so just wait and it ill come out, ppl will say they want video recording, appl will make that happen. and actually i thought the camera was gonna b crap, but no.

u might want to wait for the next one then, because since they offer 3G and GPs, the two biggest complaints with the first one, they will probably had video recording and a better camera with flash on the next model. Those priorities have moved up the list im sure.
