I love southern gospel music and Roger seems to be associated with clean cut singers. God's word tells us it is a shame for a man to have long hair and I don't listen to groups with a hippie. But the Cathedrals were a testimony and I try to listen to every YouTube clip available of that group. I have "jammed" with Jack Rouse who played with the Travelers Quartet in 1954 and competed with Wally Varner. He said traveling with a quartet takes a lot out of a fellow. But Oh the stories!
I almost feel guilty for the Lord having spared me from similar cancer. Roger was such a precious soul whom God gave us to enjoy for such a short life. At least we have the assurance that He is singing praises today, In heaven.
DECACOWBOY: Your job has not yet been finished........the Lord kept me alive this past summer because I've not yet completed what he wanted me to do.
Roger had finished his....he is the lucky one in that situation; he is at home and safe with the Master; we have work yet to do before the end of the age; we will press on.
Omigosh, I've been looking for a video to this song for a really long time! Thanks for making it...
...I miss Mr. Bennett. I've only listened to the music from them, but neevr had the pleasure of seeing them in concert. I have heard from my father that he was a very great man; I think God just wanted him in Heaven with him. Or maybe, he just wanted a professional piano player. Heh.
