  • On that note, everyone now days says "Oh die Schone, oh die schone, oh die schone schnitzelbank" on our copy it says "Oh die Schonheit an der wand, ist das nicht ein Schnitzelbank. I don't know if this got changed because complications with trying to get the group to join in but they never get. I sing the second this second version all the time but I think it's less conducive to teach a crowd.

  • This song was made in the States. From what I heard, Mader's Restaurant in Milwaukee. A family that came from Germany started a German restaurant there and made the song. We have one of their original posters framed in our winery. We get a lot of schnitzelbank practice. It's like a 3 days a week kind of a thing for us in the summer.

  • R.I.P. Jim. You will be missed.

  • I bet more people in the states than in Germany know this song. ^^

  • The servers look less than thrilled at the entertainment!

  • Can they get someone that can pronounce a single word to sing??????? It drives me insane! How does Oh du schoene = I do shane-ee??
