  • I'm not going to lie to you Ronnie, there's nothing good about this at all..

  • Fuck you Ronnie

  • 0:36 - 46 My favorite part.

  • 1 person missed the like button and its okay cause hes a nigger

  • I understand the verse parts of this song to primarily be about conformity, not feeding into the system when playing the game of life... and the chorus part to be contemporary with what Lennon and the Beatles were on with combining allusions to "The Wheel" and "Life" as metaphors from the Hindustani area religions, usually combined and referred to simply as Hinduism.

  • The audio is from a BBC Radio performance in May 1966. As for the video I think it's Paris and it's proabably the first look the world got of Jimmy Page as a Yardbird.

  • thats more like it this version is good

  • FEED MY A.D.D

  • @8Zeitgeist RIGHT ON.

  • Sounds great live!

  • Just hearing this for the first time and... I'm amazed.

  • A good alt. version, nice and fast, but the Bass is all wrong, it should be 1-3-5-6-7-6-5-3-1:, and it doesn't match the video, the Lead Singer is playing the Harp most of the time he should be singing, and I would bet thats Beck playing that Lead Riff, even though Page is in the video on Lead Guitar. Skaterboyask, you want a fuckin sick song to get stoned to, listen to "Shapes of Things To Come" by these guys!

  • @waynedanberry ... or "Heart Full of Soul"

  • Holy cow what a clip!!!

  • bientot à limoges!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow - nice alt version of the classic tune. With Page playing lead. This is the first single I ever bought. What a great way to begin my musical collecting journey.

  • this song is from observe and report FTW

  • Thanks for that info.

  • great classic thanks

  • fuckin sick song to get stoned too

  • This version has no blues harp, at least that I can hear. The hit version had a harp. Anyone know what CD has the version we hear on this video? (W/O harp)

By the way, thanks for video, cc1873cc.

  • Yeah, this is from the BBC sessions probably.

I have this version, and it's not off a studio album. If it's not from the BBC sessions (which I'm sure it is), then it's off of a Yardbirds compilation.

I hate this version. The guitar during the verses is so boring.

  • Alright. Thanks for the info, asmorgan88.

  • @filthyphillyboy , This is the Jimmy Page , The Yardbirds , Train Kept A Rollin 1966 France video.
