My Golden Melody is chipped in practically the same place, and it looks like it's getting ready to do so on the opposite side. Thanks for letting me know that this is a common occurrence, I was chiding myself for not examining it more closely when I bought it.
Thanks!!! I have Manji & the Crossover. Plus a few others. Can't decide which I like the best, but them 2 are my favorites. I filed down the metal lip on both of them down flesh with the comb. Just makes it easier for me to play.
The best harmonica for me is Marine band deluxe!

@troyS307 I think they are both really good Harps, but for some reason I think I prefer the Crossover a little more than the Manji.
