And so on. It's kind of entertaining, but I'm looking for some idea of how to take this track, not blood-tits-and-gore action. Just my preference.

It's just that in US NASCAR and Indy Car are more popular than touring car racing and the tracks on those tracks are not exactly hairpins. :) I'm sorry indeed. :)

Best part is, I've driven this track in REAL LIFE. The game's interpretation is pretty true-to-life, with a few exceptions (turn 5 is, the sharp left is a notable example, there is a big open area on the outside of the turn with grandstands, not trees).

It used to be a circuit racing game for a while then they came out with HOT Pursuit and people enjoyed running from cops, then THe fast & Furious took off and the "Street Racing" Trend began..Now that its died down a bit with FORZA stepping up, EA decided to return to their roots and get new developers involved to bring back the OLD GLORY DAYS...

NFS isnt putting away street racing. There are two separate developers under NFS, "Underground" and "Professional". 'Shift' would be the latest pro racing and 'Undercover' is the latest Underground racing for now. Wait a little, Team Underground will release a new underground racing NFS soon.

No, it can not, but it can still be a great game. when it comes to racing games, nothing beats Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo. This looks really good, but if you doesn't have your ass stuffed with money, i suggest that you wait for Forza 3 - it's gonna be the greatest game!
