Fantastic movie. Gritty, somewhat crazy but fun. Unusual 'heroes' too. Of course, those people who wail about the (cool) Hitgirl character fighting and shooting are probably the same ones who go into fits when they see any FPS game. To me, the movie shows a side of 'heroes' that Dark Knight touches on, although differently. Heroes can be vigilantes. And these 'heroes' here do not necessarily fight criminals out of noble, pure intentions. On a less serious note, the FPS POV homage? Oh yeah!

When I was a kid, Die Hard was my favorite movie, i always hated kids movie for they were edulcolrate and... wel... childish... And what i liked the most about this movie is how the naivetée of the super hero concept contrasts with all the over the top action.

i loved this movie. the only thing i didnt like was how hit girl was killing everyone in that appartment, including the ones who didnt pose a threat. this made her look kind of evil. but other than that, it was frickin awesome.

I agree that it becomes what it spoofs at a point, and that lowers it + the pompeous soundtrack some places is a little too much. They should have stuck more to the "kick-ass" and funny moments.
