Fantastic. I'm taking an on-line graduate course on quantitative analysis. I am so happy that I discovered your series of videos. Thank you Professor Srinivasan. Your command over the subject matter is inspiring.
Thank u so much sir for this upload very helpful and informative. I would have never understood LP so easily than this.I was so confused as to where to start and where i was heading.Thank you so much will b following you in all ur lectures :)
hi Prof, thank you very much for your upload , you gave another birth for optimizations method which I was about to get annoyed by the prof. I have in my college !!!
@jkbravo nowhere during the lecture the professor has mentioned 3(x1+y1=800), the final equation is x1+y1-1000+x2+y2>=800. Go through the lecture once again for better understanding. Its a great work by the professor.
@cyberchang jkbravo is correct (but with a typo). What he is pointing out is that the term Prof Srinivasan is writing at time 28:08, "3(x1+y1-800)" should be "3(x1+y1-1000)", since it is 3 times the inventory of month1. By the way, I also applaud Prof Srinivasan on his very clear series of lectures.
@Prof.G.Srinivasan, thank you so much, you have been quite helpful. Is it okay if I e-mail you a couple questions I got in my tutorial that I'm having trouble with? I would really appreciate it.
I missed some of my classes of Applied Optimization and then I found this video of lecture....I am really grateful to Prof.G.Srinivasan for this lecture. It helped me a lot understanding linear programming. His style of explaining is really great. Thank you very much for uploading this video.
Wishing you Prof G Srinivasan Sir a Happiest Teachers day. You are the best professor i have ever attended to in my life. Thanks for all the great lectures , this is a tresure trove.

Very nice Lecture , Thumbs up.
but, I found a problem, In 2nd type of formulation,in objective function shouldn't it be 3(X1+Y1-1000) instead of 3(X1+Y1-800) ?
