Here in Scotland, we have manual ramps on the first buses. I really am grateful that such a change has happened to public transport of the years. But as a wheelchair user, can't help but notice the reluctance of drivers to help you up and down the ramp and the unfortunate impatience with which passengers wait for you to get on and off with the driver's aid.
First handicap Van in Thailand for travel and safe wheelchair transfers for disabled. This minivan with Q-Straint wheelchair and occupant restraint system provides safe transportation and airport transfers in Thailand. This wheelchair accessible minibus can accommodate 2 wheelchairs and 6 additional persons including luggage. With the flexible seat system the taxi can be rearranged to different seating plans. Bus with a 90 cm wide wheelchair ramp.
I remember a while back me and my freinds were on the bus coming home from school, and one of them pressed the stop button for the wheelchair ramp to be extended, and there was a great big fuss over what was happening, bus drivers are very stuck-up these days x.x Noone can ever have any fun no more
The buses in London have the ramp on the center door but this bus has it on the front doors instead.
Dublin Bus only has one door on its buses... they don't bother with the second door so that they can have extra seats or luggage rack on the lower deck.

very interesting.
.
In London the egress and ingress of the ramp is done only when the doors are closed, by circuitry.
