I am not sure I got the graph correctly. But it seems to me that you are making the wrong comparison. In real life for the group doing 2 hrs per day will do twice the amount of hrs for the same number of days.
So, yes, after 48 hrs Group 1 (1 hr a day) shows better results than Group 2 (two 1 hr sessions a day). However, to reach this level Group 1 needs 48 days, while Group 2 only 24.
In 48 days Group 1 will do 48 hrs of practice (64 strokes), Group 2 - 96! - which we suppose is >90 strokes.
Thanks for the advice Ken. After watching this, I modified my practice structure and now I'm improving much faster than I used to! Plus, taking a day off keeps me interested in juggling and makes me want to keep practicing. Happy juggling and God bless!
Hey knsmr, i really enjoyed this video. The explanations and examples you showed really made sense. I can juggle 3 balls, 3 clubs, and almost 4 balls, but for now have gotten tired of juggling, lol. I still love it but just got out of it. Have you ever quit juggling for some time, and then got back into it ?
*keep up great work knsmr, and will be looking forward to another video xd
@MattSnacks Hey Matt. Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I would say I almost quit juggling 3 years ago. I stil do love it and juggle like 5 minutes a day, but for me, it's nothing. I might get back to juggling when my little daughter grows and starts playing with her friends rather than with me. :)
I agree with the short practice every day, but I also like to do multiple session per day if I can.
I've been trying to be smarter about my practice methods and it has really been showing. I've been working on my 4 club for the past two days and I already shattered my previous record. I'm up around 20 catches now.
Instead of beating my head against it like I did with balls 4-6, I am using siteswaps with lower numbers to simulate the hgher
@TABjuggler Hey TABjuggler, yeah siteswaps with lower numbers helps. I love it, too. You don't get bored and frustrated this way. Thanks for the comment!
great advice! it helped me alot :)
