Warren was brilliant. Able to write a funny parody on any topic. This song just reinforces the vastness of his subect matter. Truly the best rock lyricist of the 20th century. A phenomenal sense of humor. Sometimes dark, but always makes you think about his words, and their meaning in his songs.

To say this song is addictive is an understatement. I first heard it in 1981 in the apartment below mine. I was a student at the time, and had quite a hang over. I knew it was Warren Zevon but that was all I knew. I never got to ask my neighbor what the song was called. Over the next 28 years I searched high and low for this song, with no luck, Until tonight. Thank you for the post, its now part of my "Favorites"!
