i decided on rigging the vault of air and water.but where do the people from it go.i know that butch is in the muddy rudder in rivet city.But Where does Amata Freddie Gomez etc. go?
u first have to finish the quest scientific pursuits then go to the outside area around vault 101 and u will get a distress call from Amata, and she will give you the code to get inside.
After The waters of life in the main quest, you pick it up when your near Vault 101. If you didn't kill Amata's dad he'll be the Overseer, if you did you'll have the guy u see in my video. You can either go with Amata's plan or you can go talk to butch and go his route. There's like 4 different endings;work with old/new overseer,killing old/new overseer (mine), end lockdown (don't kill), or butch's plan. I don't know how to do each one just the one I did. :)
all you have to do is walk past his room and dont even talk to him. If you do just leave the conversation and he will scream guards guards while running away.
Ya it was a big dissapointment. It only took me 18 hours to beat it. Oblivion was more in depth, we sacraficed detailed game play and story to be able to shoot someones leg off.
im not too sure if this quest has any other endings. i tried it every other way and it always ends up the same. im pretty disgusted at all the endings in this game. no satisfaction at all.
I actually thought everything about the story EXCEPT THE ENDING was great. I agree that the endings on most quests were tame but I enjoyed it just the same. and with oblivion, would you rather have just another oblivion or would your rather have something different with some minor flaws.
Hey, even thought the main story was a dissapointment, still the game was absolutely game of the year for me. 100 hours has past and I havent even bought OA pack.
What happens if you miss this quest besides losing the chance to get the achievement/ throphy

Most of the vault dwellers you will never see again.
Amanta becomes a random encounter in which you run into her and a few enclave.
And the rest can be found in the Fallout 3 wiki.

Thats why Im not playing the main guests :D hopefully they carry on the story in upcoming patches. Main story was a HUGE dissapointment
