the best song ever from DOA in early years... actually cant compare to you spin me round, the music was way much interesting and innovating for those years...
does someone knows were can I find the lyrics from this song?
for anyone whos einterested Pete was a sales assistant at Probe records Liverpool at the time and he sold me a bauhaus EP. He was a nice polite girl too but he had./has a nasty streak
@NineInchNailed I don't think, it really was gothic rock, but I agree with you. It was better. I only knew their most famous YSMR, and I didn't like that song. I still hate it. But now I am getting into their earlier works.
@PeSkeleton ysee the term "goth" was not around then so on the contrary this is probably the first ever goth band years before the Americans ruined it
Is there any way you could send a downloadable version of this to me via message? I love this version I have the sir billy remix and I don't like it at all.
I still play the 12" version on my old record player (B side to What I want) I have to copy it to casette (now that really IS sad) before I can transfer it to CD,lol.... 2 of my favourite Dead or Alive songs:The Stranger and Far too Hard (both MASSIVELY underrated)I valued my collection last week,a princely £3,000 worth (seems it's paid off for collecting over 25 years, lol)
Cheers for putting the song on You tube though,.it allows the new fans to appreciate the older music of Dead or Alive ;-)
Wayne Hussey on guitar? sounds like it
