  • Wayne Hussey on guitar? sounds like it

  • @custardo1 very good, he was indeed in DOA at that time :-) you can see him on the single of The Stranger.

  • the best song ever from DOA in early years... actually cant compare to you spin me round, the music was way much interesting and innovating for those years...

does someone knows were can I find the lyrics from this song?

  • can someone please tell me where to download The Doors of Perception? i really want all these old songs.

  • for anyone whos einterested Pete was a sales assistant at Probe records Liverpool at the time and he sold me a bauhaus EP. He was a nice polite girl too but he had./has a nasty streak

  • Incredibly beautiful song! One of their best. Wish I had the lyrics for this, but they can't be found anywhere...

  • Lyrics?????????????????????

  • @NineInchNailed I don't think, it really was gothic rock, but I agree with you. It was better. I only knew their most famous YSMR, and I didn't like that song. I still hate it. But now I am getting into their earlier works.

  • @PeSkeleton It's straight up Post-Punk (which Gothic-Rock was a part of).

  • @PeSkeleton ysee the term "goth" was not around then so on the contrary this is probably the first ever goth band years before the Americans ruined it

  • Trying to be Simple Minds here?

  • @Ranlon i dont think so no

  • I think I like this version better than the original. I didn't think that was possible.

    Thanks for the uploading.

  • :52 reminds me of Kurt Valaquen

  • i love this hunting melody and just the magical sound of this era i love dead or alive

    thanks por posting

  • yeah i think so too. i'm not really into dead or alive anymore though. i'm out of that phase now. but they're still pretty good

  • @DeadorAliveTribute

If you are not that into DOA anymore then how come you have a DOA Tribute Channel???

  • @TheNouveauxdecadence for people who like DOA, because I have some rare stuff up here

  • @DeadorAliveTribute can relate...have some DOA stuff on here myself. but am really quite over them (or at least the present day DOA)

  • Genial !!!

  • Is there any way you could send a downloadable version of this to me via message? I love this version I have the sir billy remix and I don't like it at all.

  • I still play the 12" version on my old record player (B side to What I want) I have to copy it to casette (now that really IS sad) before I can transfer it to CD,lol.... 2 of my favourite Dead or Alive songs:The Stranger and Far too Hard (both MASSIVELY underrated)I valued my collection last week,a princely £3,000 worth (seems it's paid off for collecting over 25 years, lol)

Cheers for putting the song on You tube though,.it allows the new fans to appreciate the older music of Dead or Alive ;-)

  • @gggggaaaaarrrrryyyyy

I agree! Far Too hard and The Stranger are 2 of my BIG fav's from DOA and ridiculosuly underated
