So it's only if I'm on a mission that I pray, what about simply spending time with the Lord besides His Word? Can knowing Jesus more be my mission? You don't spend time and make requests known to a loved one only when you have requests to make.....is anyone able to clarify? I"m understanding it like pray only when you have a need/request, etc. which I know isn't true, but that's how I'm interpreting what brother John is saying...please help, thank you

We, as Christians, need to evaluate constantly how we pray, and what is the object of our prayer. I've been guilt plenty of times, my heart not set in the right place. Let's set our sights on high, and pray for the glory of God Almighty.

Prayer is the most important weapon we have for God fights our battles for us when we pray...prayer moves Heaven and scares the Devil away!
