I shopped at Hamadys Grocery on the corner of Davison and Franklin and swam at the pool at Kearsley park, and I even had a Drivers license at Safetyville USA. Ate at Angelos and the Starlite and later partied at Jesters, friends with many of the Wheels and all in all have great memories in Flint!

Yep, I know alot of retired Wheels, as well as active status. But out of respect, I'll not mention their names here. I stayed on the Eastside instead of southend. I can name 50 bars at least in flint and there are alot more than that, so you're right about it being a bar town. Peppermint lounge and lamplighter were some other of my hangouts besides the cluhouse. Flint will forever be a huge part of my life and memories.

Jack has been dead for years,,I remember him sleeping beneath the pool table at Ole Franks, he was an institution.I can remember in the 60's and even the mid 70's when things were OK in Flint.The East Side was a little immigrant neighborhood. Beautiful tree lined streets with manicured yards and clean streets.Then it just went downhill..One thing about it, being from there ALWAYS commanded the respect of those who knew Flint.

I grew up in Flint during the '70's and most of the '80's, I graduated and moved away. It was so bad back then, I heard in the '80's Flint had the highest murder and rape stats in the nation. Not sure if it was true, but that's what I was told.I live 600 miles away now, I sleep sooo much better.

Our whole state has been fucked by this damn economy. Michigans economy has been fucking bad for the past 20 years and now that the economy is so bad in the whole USA everyone starts to give a fuck now. Fuck, why didnt you care 20 years ago when it all started here in Michigan?

I grew up in Flint during the '70's and most of the '80's, I graduated and moved away. It was so bad back then, I heard in the '80's Flint had the highest murder and rape stats in the nation. Not sure if it was true, but that's what I was told.I live 600 miles away now, I sleep sooo much better.

Flint is the reason ive been able to make it where ever i go.I feal more safe in chicago then i do in my own home town(FLINT) GM aint shit because back in the day flint was the place to be. Flint stone 4 Life!

I've walked the streets of some of the major cities of the world. I've made some of the most dangerous strolls in America, the South Bronx to Yankee Stadium, Cabrini Green in Chicago. They were a cake walk, my fear alarm didn't even sound. That's because I have been down the streets of Flint, Michigan. Where you and I know, they will eat you for breakfast!

Flint is horrible! Its a shame because we talk to killers everyday and dont know it! Flint is wayyy too small to have soo much violence.
