You know what really sucks? Steinberg doesnt TELL you that Cubase Studio doesnt come with this...they only tell you that you dont get 128 channels in Studio. I kind of need this today and I just found out i dont have it. sucks.
ok i bought cubase 5 about a month ago...i have been able to record with my keyboard but when i connected my mic and now i cannot record vocals. i bought a mxl 990 condenser mic i dont know if that is important
@westtexasgurl432 well... if it is a condenser mic you will need to have 48volts of phantom power...on most interfaces or some mics can get that from a battery....if you don't have the mic powered...you wont get sound...i have an interface off amazon.com M-audio fasts track and it has the 48volts so check that out..
This is awesome. Had Cubase 5 and didnt even know about it. Really smoothed my vocals right out. Even when you think you are in tune you might be a little out but use this and Boom.Flawless pitch perfection.
Variaudio looks amazing, i have cubase 5 studio but i can't find variaudio tab on the side bar. I see definition, audiowarp, hitpoints, range and process but no variaudio! Its really frustrating because i know all the cool things i can do with it. Does anyone have any ideas???

I haven't decided yet over cubase5 or melodyne with my existing cubase. One thought though.. With powerful tools like these, why do we STILL get songs sounding metallic, like Glee (shite) TV show and Michael Buble? I also think that this wasnt the best example of Melodyne's poer, maybe they just used default settings here?. So propaganda is still rife in all aspects of commerce. Good shit though huh?
But what about the formant parameter?? I love formant control on melodyne cause it allows you to have kind of vocoder/synth sounds from a simple vocal track, I don't see it on vari audio, anyone can tell me if variaudio has it?? thanx
Can this help make these all level like if at one point you belt out a tune and its too loud compared to the rest you can level it to be about as loud as the rest?
