I love this song and I a a firm believer that things in this world happen for a reason and a purpose and even if we don't understand at the time in Gods perfect timing He will reveal His reason and His purpose. We just have to be faithful and patient enough to wait for His answer. We don't always get what we want when we want it, but it is thru this time God is teaching us faithfulness and patience and molding us like a potter forms a piece of clay into a beautiful pot. This song has a very special meaning to me: My uncle was working on our family farm and fell of a grain wagon and broke his neck and was paralyzed from the neck down. One Sunday, my parents and I went and got him from the nursing home and took him to church. Our family all attends the same church and he was so grateful to see all his family at once! He started singing this song right off the bat. This was the last song we ever heard him sing on this side. He was 42. Rest in Peace Uncle Larry!

this song has special meaning to me as I sat by my 29 yr, old son's hospital bed as he lay dying. I was a 1000 miles from home and was alone and our pastor called a local pastor to come be with me on the hardest day of my life. One day I hope that I understand why my son had to die.

Thanks for posting this here! Michael is our favorite singer of all time! My little girl (you've heard her sing) started calling him Uncle English because she couldn't say Michael when she was a baby. Now she's 5 and still calls him that! She loves his singing! Have you read Michael's book yet? If not, you should go get it now.

to zel123 and angelamarsh, some of them are baptist, some of them are pentecostal, and even some of them are presbyterians and nazerenes. but the majority of them are baptist or pentecostal.
