If he just crushes someone who made it far in a tournament, he usually won't gg because he feels they aren't good enough to get where they are--that they simply made it because of cheese/their race having some imbalanced openings, whatever. He often doesn't gg because he doesn't feel it was just that--a good game. I don't blame him. (It's obvious he felt this way about Elfi in his interview following these games.)

@bionikspoon Cheese is a strategy that involves you sacrificing a large-ish part of your economy very early in the game to make a single attack that will probably kill your opponent if he doesn't scout it, but if he does defend it, you'll probably lose the game. Basically a coinflip.

A timing push is making an attack right when some advantage of yours kicks in - +1 upgrades for stronger units, 6 warp gates for a lot of production, etc. You play as normal, not sacrificing your economy.

@MachinistakaxERo What Idra did was a Roach-Ling all-in, like it or not guy it was cheese. An early attack at the expense of his economy. If Idra didn't kill his opponent there, he would have lost the game. I'm a big fan of Idra, but it was still cheese.

Although, to be fair, for Zerg early aggression and cheese are pretty much the same thing. If a Zerg does anything other than make drones and defend in the first ten minutes of the game, he's going to lose if he doesn't end it immediately.

This is a timing attack. Idra sensed weakness when he saw a base and rather than drone up, he simply went for the quick kill. It wasn't even a 1-base build so stfu.

This is really good! Its good that Idra has realized that he needs to balance his awesome macro style with these quick attacks. It makes him a much much more powerful adversary now that he threatens people with a quick loss. Too many people meta him and this is the only way to stop that. TL DR. Its good if he becomes less predictable.

To be fair, what Idra said in the post-match interview is that the finals were disappointing -- he'd have preferred to have play Puma in the finals. This is giving credits to Puma while dissing Elfi at the same time. Up to you to decide if it's appropriate. I think it's common to make such comments at high-level play.
