Steve Fishman was not crazy.. He is in prison now for Bond fraud. He is a ripoff artist. He has been pulling bond scams since the 80s and was trying to use scientology to blame his wrong doings. He did not learn and just went back to federal prison late 2009 for selling phony Railway bonds to New Zealanders.

@jas22 U fool.....come on seriously u know it's a joke right! Why do LRH (the ultimate con man) books and teachings carry any weight at all?? He wanted to make money,he knew religions make money...he was a sci-fi writer with a LARGE imagination....who lied massively about his past..and got rich. He laughed all the way to the bank...and good on him if people are stupid then they are there to be taken advantege of :) Hope U find ur way out of the "church" and live an independent life :)

@blastm4 Tolkien was a devoted christian. If you take the time to read the Silmarillion, you realize that the book it's nothing but a copy of some of the bible's concepts, starting from Eru to Melkor, to even far beyond into the LOTR saga. I think he will never thought,neither even suppose, to convert his mythology into any religion. But...well,it can be fun to start wearing golden rings and say "Ash nazg durbatulûk...". LOL
