Betta making his bubble nest

@denisyefimov12 You need to CAREFULLY lift them out of the tank. Use a copper spoon as other metals will make a chemical reaction with the eggs and will be toxic. Put in a fresh bag and examine every 1-2 hours. Otherwise you need to put a female in there as soon as possible to prevent toxicity.

i have a blue and brown betta ina ten gallon tank by himself but he wont mwke a bubble nest! is it because the tank dosent have plants? what should i do?

My betta is a dick, all he does is sit there and show off for the female trapped in a glass colum that seperates her, he wont build the bubble nest. My female is clearly ready and is showing all symptoms (interest in male, vertical bars, white spot on bottom showing)

Please help!!! my male betta has made a nest at the bottom of the tank.. is this normal?? in my 10 gallon i have 2 1 gallon tanks in it.. in one of the 1 gallons i have a bubble stone that tank is on one side. then i have the other one on the other side with the filter.. whould that be why he did the nest on the bottom?? to much activity for the eggs?? please help..

but when i put them in a tank beside each other he started makeing one. now i want to breed them. how do i know when he is threw?

When The female is in a head down position and showing vertical stripes.

And The bubble nest should be at minimum 2x1/2x2 inches.

No it doesn't. Some bettas just don't make nests.

i take better care of them than u..its just that my betta was making nests all teh time then it stopped then i had female he made nests then i took female out he made nests and while ago he stopped again

put male in tank for 1 day, then next day add female but put her in a jar or floating betta holder in the middle of the tank, they will see each other but not be able to get to each other. then if the male starts flaring and female gets virtical bars put them together in the 10 gallon (minimum) tank and keep an eye on them, they probably will fight but if they dont hurt one another dont remove them. after a while he will build a nest and squeeze the eggs from her. and put them in the nest.

I luv my male betta Sephora<3 I'm waiting till my goldfish die so I can give Sephora a big tank and hopefully b much more happy. right now it is in those Marine Betta Kit things and i dont think its big enuf for em but hes happy

I think she has to be ready as well (full of eggs) before you can put them together, otherwise he will kill her

@JorJackie true!!! lol i left my skinny female with him in a jar n nothing happened for 3days until she suddenly got fatter n got that white thing under her belly shows that its egg related. thats when he started building the nest after that still is building it started today
