io mi sarei fermato, sarei uscito dalla mia auto e fissando la lotus avrei detto: porcatroia la madonna impestata e imbesuita! poi sarei rientrato in macchina...
That particular car is Krypton Green. For 2008, Krypton was replaced with Isotope but that is a 2007.
You can tell it's an '07 because 1. It has a small roof scoop AND an intercooler. 2. The bases that hold up the wing are black, not body colored. 3. The only intercooled Exiges for '08 are 240s. The intercooled S "220" was only for '07.
I am constantly debating on whether i should get a Lotus Exige S (black) or a Ferrari 348 TS (red) I can't decide! on one hand the Lotus Is very eye catching and its a tiny car wich I like, but on the other hand the Ferrari is... well, a Ferrari.
Yeah they're both 2 great cars, but the Elise (mk2) is newer, it has better brakes, cluth etc.. the 348 is a bit old, and i read that the quality of it is not the best, but yes, wow, it's a Ferrari! :P
The thing that throws me with the Exige is the lack of interior. I like the ferrari's Red with Tan interior look. and I like the way the shifter look. and the lines on the car, like the testarossa and 512R just look amazing! So im going to continue to debate but I think im leaning sliiiightly towards the Ferrari. If not a 348 then definately the 355, but the targa tops are easier to find in the 348 wich is what i want...
Lotus has great gas MPG compared to most exotics, and cost no more to maintain than your normal car, and not to mention if you track it, it will take the turns like no other. it think the Exige is the most practical exotic out there. very cost efficient. thats what won me over the Lamborghini Murcielago i rode in (check my video if you wana see it)
@cjmiles2 If you have a spare 10K lying around at the end of every 2 month span, get the 348. Just note that it will require extensive servicing after every 1900 miles - thats the time frame that the aforementioned 10K will be needed for the replacement of timing belts and their pulleys. Then you have the other dramas - like clutch, brakes and lubricants. It could set you back well over 50K a year if you drive it enough.
The Lotus is dynamically superior, faster and cheaper to live with.
@cjmiles2 You'd get more fun out of the Lotus. Cheaper too. More economical and you can THRASH cars with twice your power in the corners if you use it to compete.
in my opinion thats the most insane color that lotus offers, its called isotope green i believe. if i ever got one it would be orange chrome for shure ;)
There's a BMW mean muggn in the back ground. Hahaha

@cjmiles2: I was racing a friends 355 in my exige, and his ferrari blew a gasket! He had to pull over and call it a day. $2000 to fix. Ouch!

@cjmiles2 For your Sex live a Ferrari is the better choice, if you search fun on driving until 250kph the lotus is the better choice.

@cjmiles2 : Easy decision, do you want to spend $2,000 for a yearly service, or $20,000
