@pranildagangsta HAH. i have worked for Lexus infiniti & mercedes as a salesman and if you think Japanese cars are more reliable than German cars, you need to think again because Japanese reliability is just going down hill lately however german will always be reliable. sure japanese cars are more fairly priced however you really can see the differences when you work with cars all the time. japanese are relaible for the 1st 30 - 40,000 miles but after that they are crap. you get what you pay for

I love the infinities. My dad has an 2008 G35x and its so calm and luxurious and I love how it looks like an average family sedan, but it has an insane amount of power to boot. Every infinity goes off of that style. In my opinion I love them.

It's ironic that Infiniti beated MB in performance yet it has to depend on its rival for its engines. Ultimately, its rival is the winner as it's the source.
@unknownunknowns You have to remember that its AMG that is going to be suppling engines, not MB is itself. But I don't think we'll be seeing a 6.2L M156 V8 or Twin-Turbo AMG V-12/V8 in a Infiniti..
This is such a hard video to watch.. I am a HUGE, I mean, HUGE fan of both Mercedes-Benz and Nissan, therefore of Infiniti too. I LOVE both the E-Class and the M56 and I think both are outstanding cars, id love to own any of the two. Obviously the M56 is better in the track but id have to see how each car feels to truly know. Because the Infiniti has new technologies and specs, while the Merceds has the old technology and spec that you found in the previous generation but its just had minor upgrades :L. js.

@markechio That research you're talking about Mercedes and Nissan is probably largely the Rear mounted Gear box. Which yes the Nissan GTR was the first to have it, but soon after the SLS Amg Gulwing had it. So im shure that was definably a Joint Mercedes/Nissan enterprise just how the GTR has many European origins in it....

The E-class is bested by pretty much every other entry in the segment in everything from quietness to handling and acceleration and it's still among the most expensive. In virtually all measurable parameters it is at the bottom of the class. If it had an Infiniti badge the press and you would be killing it as an overpriced and underwhelming car.
@Howie262 Both the Mercedes E-Class and Infiniti M are great cars however I would have to agree with "Frickitt". Keeping AMG out of the equation, the E-class is actually the least fun to drive compared to its upstart rivals like the BMW 5 series and Infiniti M. The E-class is a great luxury sedan and it should be appreciated for what it is, a defined and well rounded manufacturer with opulence as its prime characteristic. The M56 is on par and truthfully a better performer.

Lets say Im shopping for a supercar, my choices are the Lexus LFA at $375K or the Mercedes SLS AMG at $183K, clearly if money was not an object I could opt for the LFA right? But why would I when can get the Mercedes SLS for a fraction of the cost with a longer history of performance engines over Lexus, having access to unlimited funds does not make the more expensive car the better one. I happen to like Infiniti =)
the m56 is the strongest most powerful M that is coming out so take the strongest most powerful E class that comes out the E63 amg and then we can discuss ;)

@Howie262 Um have you ever driven an Infinti M56 and or a Mercedes E550? Well I have and I have owned both of them aswell. And i can say i would proudly choose the infiniti over the Merc. Because the Infiniti has new technologies and specs, while the Merceds has the old technology and spec that you found in the previous generation but its just had minor upgrades :L. js.

@markechio That research you're talking about Mercedes and Nissan is probably largely the Rear mounted Gear box. Which yes the Nissan GTR was the first to have it, but soon after the SLS Amg Gulwing had it. So im shure that was definably a Joint Mercedes/Nissan enterprise just how the GTR has many European origins in it....

The E-class is bested by pretty much every other entry in the segment in everything from quietness to handling and acceleration and it's still among the most expensive. In virtually all measurable parameters it is at the bottom of the class. If it had an Infiniti badge the press and you would be killing it as an overpriced and underwhelming car.

@Howie262 Both the Mercedes E-Class and Infiniti M are great cars however I would have to agree with "Frickitt". Keeping AMG out of the equation, the E-class is actually the least fun to drive compared to its upstart rivals like the BMW 5 series and Infiniti M. The E-class is a great luxury sedan and it should be appreciated for what it is, a defined and well rounded manufacturer with opulence as its prime characteristic. The M56 is on par and truthfully a better performer.

Mercedes just offers a reputation, and last time I checked I was buying a car not a badge. The Infiniti M class offers alot more then the E-class in terms of standards. The new M recieved the most cross shoppers for any luxury midsized vehicle in this market, those BMW and MB owners are trading in.

My father had a 2005 M45, just sold it, and got the M56. Really, really quick car.
But ask ANYONE who has driven one, the pedal feel is just plain awful. SUCH a deatched feeling.
You can never reaaaally tell when the brakes will engage, but when they finally do, you'll screech to a halt and it will scare the living shit out of you.
Make sure you have a lid on your soda, cause it'll end up all over the center console if you don't.

your infiniti g35 looks like shit only after 5 years.. im a mechanic and a lot of the 2003 infiniti interior look like garbage. today i did a emission test on a 2007 g35 and the door panel was loose. haha btw mercedes helped nissan they work together if you idiots didnt know. Mercedes dont compete.

Im no genius but Im pretty sure every car now comes standard with these features, Mercedes is not exclusive to them, wether or not they invented it is irrelevant, had you siad blind spot intervention, around view monitor, lane departure warning or saftey features uncommon to other cars that would have been more reasonable, Infiniti offers just that, & its not cheaper, they are just a better value

Lets say Im shopping for a supercar, my choices are the Lexus LFA at $375K or the Mercedes SLS AMG at $183K, clearly if money was not an object I could opt for the LFA right? But why would I when can get the Mercedes SLS for a fraction of the cost with a longer history of performance engines over Lexus, having access to unlimited funds does not make the more expensive car the better one. I happen to like Infiniti =)
