few years ago two parents went out to dinner.a few hours later, the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kid's room, the father said"Get the kids out of the house,we'll call the police we don't have a clown statue"."the clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail.if you don't post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand. sorry don't want this to happen to me
are you cunts stupid? to replace the apex seals the motor will be seperated. so youll find out if you can reuse the old seals or not. but no matter what your better off throwing in new seals / gaskets etc. youde be a poor bitch not to.
@bajapanties515 Oh those weak bastards will only take about 8 pounds for around 20,000 miles. They're not made for crazy boost. But a set of rotors isn't very much money! If you have the know-how, you can save a lot of cheddar doing the tear-down yourself, and while you're installing the new carbon seals, might as well port it, clean your points, do a block polish, and tune it up basically. Your rota will love ya for it, and then you can probably run up to 15-17 pounds on a stock ECU.
@brapboys503 think before you speak(type)..... if you bridgeport it you will most likley need a bigger turbo and an engine management system to get it to run correctly
@97corollaturbo I do think before I speak. An ECM (Electronic Control Module) is pretty damn expensive for these cars. And besides, I was talking about seals.
@brapboys503 but if your going to change the seals why not do it right and change out all the gaskets and all the other seals? it wouldnt be very good if you rip apart the engine change the apex seals and then have your side seals or oil seals go out 5000 miles after the ghetto rebuild
@vicxxoo I'm just saying, at the track when you don't want to complete a two work-day rebuild, you just pop the apex's, replace them, and keep racing. Take back home, tear down, rebuild.
It's also a common assumption that the problem is always with the apex seals, side seals and coolant seal can all fail too, not to mention all the other springs and seals in the engine. If you're still getting good compression and the car runs fine, there's no real reason to rebuild unless you race daily.
engine has been rebuilt. has 220rwkw. Ive added a few more things (bigger injectors etc) so will be putting out a bit more power when I get it back from the tuners.

@GeneralWiggin Like I said, a complete teardown-rebuild with new seals should take about two days, not including installation.

How much boost can you run without blowing the apex seals on a stock rotor?

@brapboys503 You cannot just pop out apex seals, you have to pull the engine and then pull the housings to even get to them.

@XSticksXnXStonesX He probably drifts the car that's why he has that kit.

@Subsw00fers ...You don't need a body kit to drift an rx7 or for any car. That kit was just..ugly.
