with basswood body, which I like more, since it has heavier tone anyways.

I changed my neck on my 555 with an rg neck and changed the edge pro crap with a floyd rose pro.

Edge pro I's are fine, It's the edge pro II's and III's that aren't great. I love the jem neck so I wouldn't replace it with an rg one.
