  • oh god come back to us.

  • The first song I learned on my tenor sax.

  • Half asleep last night at 2am...Casino Royal, the 1967 Peter Sellers version, was on the box and it was like a dream...Ursala Andress, HOTTEST STAR EVER, looking beautiful and this song playing...her voice was hypnotic and soooo damn sexy...really miss this music...so much class and style...nothing compares to this today...so many childhood memories and feelings associated with that jazzy, loungy music...it felt like it was everywhere, like a sound track for those early years.

  • This is the difinitive version that will never be surpassed. Perfection.

  • @wheresmyoldaccount definitive - lol

  • Thumbs up! If this song keeps freezing at 0:08.

  • Sounds like Paul Desmond on Sax. or at least his style.

    Dsuty at her best.

  • Dionne........move over.

  • @jtrimmel Way WAYYYYYYY over.

  • DUSTY TIENE UNA VOZ MUY DULCE, CANTA COMO LOS ANGELES!!!

  • Love this song...one of Ms. Springfield's best. Timeless!!!

  • Anybody got a copy of the original Casino Royale on vinyl?? I'll give you 10 bucks for it....ok 20

  • This sends chills right up and down my spine. Timeless perfection.

There's a moment in the movie Lost In Translation where Scarlett Johanssen stops smiling and sends a smouldering look of affection at Bill Murray when he's singing to her. That girl, that moment, this song, and a look that could melt steel. My favorite things, I'm drifting away to a wonderful place.........

  • Musique tout simplement magnifique .

  • Nice song

  • Man, i can't believe i haven't heard this before, i loved it!

  • a special voice, floating, soft, mellow...spiritual and soulful....o brasilliero joga a saxaphone ...tudo coisa e tudu bom. Lovely!

  • this lady is sooo under recognised for her great voice..!!!

  • Three questions about this version:

    Is that Bacharach on piano?

Is that Stan Getz on sax?

Is the trumpet solo at the end "tacked on" to this version from another one, and who plays it?

    Cheers

  • That's not Herb Alpert playing on this song........

  • smooth and sweet.

  • Why am I listening to this! What great singing. People must have been shagging silly back then.

  • CLASS DELIVERY FROM DUSTY ON THIS BERT BACKERACK SONG,BRILLIANT,PLUS THAT SINGING SAX !!!!!!

  • I've never been so aroused in my entire life.

  • Ahhh la bella Dusty!!!!! Qué linda, qué hermosa canción, qué voz!

  • I love this song. So pure and lovely. :)

  • Wow! no cuss words! no cash money; no pimp and hoez; no cutting this person and that!! Pure music!!!

  • @amborsiabt your right but if you listen to contry, rock and blues..that was all in there too..rap music did not invent non of those themes....

  • I didn't care for this song when I was a kid during the 60s but it's amazing how maturity changes your taste in music. Now I wish more music was as classy as this one.

  • Style and class are timeless

  • I never grow tired of listening to this version which I consider to be be the benchmark version. There are many other interpretations that are also excellent but this one evokes the most emotion and feeling in me time and time again.

  • so sensual.

  • i have dusty springfield's albums and love her songs. brings back memories when your young, just a great time to be a teenager in the 1960's.

  • I've found a special woman with "the look of love" and she have broken my hearth. Now i'm waiting she coming back to me.

    Mr. Romolo

  • @MrRomolo18 Um ?

  • this is timeless and the only thing i can say is wowwwwwww

  • I'm 16. This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.

  • I like Sy smith version with Chris Botti.

    It's really sexy

  • One of the best songs ever!

  • I can't get enough of this song.

  • So many people have fucked to this.

  • Precioso tema con la dulce voz de dusty, uno de mis favoritos!!!

  • Diana Kroll would love to sing this song as good.

  • @critchley3819 It is Diana KRALL and she sings this song and it is wonderful.

  • @rubyjking Well that makes me the dope of the year , yes very lovely, I have it now, thanks for your reply.

  • @critchley3819 You are very welcome!

  • @critchley3819 Diana sings it so good as Dusty and her piano is just awsome.

  • ~Sigh~

  • im 68 years old and i f*cked dusty springfield in 1963

  • @JuxtaposeMystery what a wanker

  • @cimbom88 yes a full on retarded jerk off.to see this comment made me feel bad. how anyone could be so low as to post this comment is sad, talent like what this lovely lady gave to the world deserves respect,

  • @JuxtaposeMystery a 68 year old wanker

  • This is at least the fourth "take" of this song I've heard by Dusty-each somehow subtly different yet each damn close to perfection. So many "covered" this song, but nobody comes within a mile of Dusty's rendtions-she really nailed it.

  • Big advice for contemporary female vocalists:. Dusty owns this song, sorry. you can't even come close to the soul and sensuality of her voice & phrasing.

  • @MrDavearama Well said...absolutely agree.

  • I love her. She's amazing

  • A classic masterpiece. What else would you expect from Burt Bacharach, Dusty Springfield and Herb Alpert. No other version can touch this. what a voice. so sexy.

  • Another great but undervalued British voice.

  • This is the very best ever - no one has ever compared to Dusty Springfield's version. A masterpiece!

  • my wife loves this song.....

  • i listen to armin van buuren and lupe fiasco, and they got nothing on this song. Amazing!

  • Listening to her voice is like being loved.

  • PURE SEX!!!

  • This is so organic, hearffelt, real. The crap today is mostly truly mediocre "talents" backed by machines. It takes great maturity and command to perform at this level. Most today don't have it. If they come close, they're still miles away, like John Legend. An almost there.

  • @boodang062451

and the women have to clothed themselves like cheap hookers...

  • @zodiacza1 What a stupid comment to mine. Please help to keep idiocy at a minimum on planet Earth -- stop commenting on things you know nothing about.

  • every time I hear this song I shit my pants.

  • @Wtcnb maybe you should borrow one of your grand-dads depends the next time you listen to it

  • @Wtcnb Perhaps the noble key of Db does not agree with your lower GI ??

  • so so good, thanks mam for playing music like this throughout my childhood

  • I'm 18 year old boy! my friends couldn't belive that i'm listening to this.. but this is AWSOME!

  • @bandris1820 i'm 20 and i listen to this, and my friends dig it too!

people who can't appreciate something this beautiful don't deserve friendship!

  • @bandris1820 Get into blues man...

  • @bandris1820 Keep listening! This is only the tip of the iceberg of of stuff out there from the 40's-60's.

  • @bandris1820 Im 60 my friends already like this awsome music.

  • @bandris1820 Smart kid...

  • @bandris1820 21 here and same lol

  • @bandris1820 - Hey, good music is good music regardless of when it was made my friend!!

  • @bandris1820 Same here bro seriously this is my definition of a sexy song.

  • @bandris1820 dude…same…but my friends a chill with it hahahaha in fact they love it

  • @bandris1820 - those timeless classics are undeniable.

  • 2011 i am 40 this year and i love this song.

  • NICE

  • Does it have to die away?! I always can hardly wait for this trumpet phrase continued :-(

  • oo beautiful song!

  • The best love song ever .recorded

  • To my mind, hers is the definitive version of this song. No one else does it better.

  • I just finished reading her biography and this woman overcame incredible obstacles to perform each time. She's truly a treasure and is unmatched by any singer under 40 years old.

  • They don't make singers like Dusty anymore.!! I wouldn't give 2 cents for the crap they call music today, let alone the plastic people called singers to day, as well..

  • @MrSonny119 Yesterday year music industries means ... voice is louder than music, whereby in today world, music industries means ... MUSIC come first, LOOKS came second and voice came last .... true but sad.

  • when i was only 11 years old i had a big crush on dusty, erm i think i still do and i am in my 50,s now !! nice upload

  • The others are good but nobody does The Look of Love better than Dusty... So soulful, it reaches so deep into the listener...

  • this song reminds me of the 1969 movie...Boys in the Band

  • The saxaphonist seemed to try to capture Dusty's voice and i f he she did it was a wonderful solo.

  • @ibnabraham how right.

  • @ibnabraham Yes indeed. Incredible sax solo.

  • Imagine Me & You bought me here ^_^

  • quite possible the best song ever to difine that definitive moment just before you have sex

  • KNOCK KNOCK!

  • This song just reminds me of warm, endless summer evening when there were no cell phones, computers, Ipads. Just friends and family sitting on the stoops of a Brooklyn Brownstones in the late 60's, as the sun was just about to set. Laughter, love, and innocense.

  • @miyan12 sounds like a lovely way to spend a summer evening ..and her voice is so trancy.

  • Perfect mood. Perfect voice. Perfect arrangement. Perfect song. Timeless.

  • i am black and i think this is the best version

  • @Mario856 In my opinion Dionne Warwick live version from her 1970 Very Dionne album is the definitive version.

  • Great music........

  • Pure honeyed soul..thats Dusty. She was a unique artist who made you feel sophisticated and ready to take on the world.

  • I'm so proud, I taught myself to play a little bit of this on my piano.

  • every respose is ajoke she 1 of the best

  • someone once described her voice as a well aged sippin whiskey

  • smokin'..

  • Love this song so sultry

  • I've heard that Dusty was straight, a dyke, and bi. What is the truth? Fabulous voice, whatever!

  • Class! Like very much x

  • it sounds so sexy.....

  • You are not kidding, 11 years into this century, and it sucks royally!!!!!

Take me back to the 60's anyday!

  • what a great voice and singer (and song) -thanks for this post

  • Greatest sex music ever conceived!

  • @stevearanda1234 I like how you said "conceived"...How many little bundles have been produced from this...!!

  • 65 people are insane? I thought it would be WAY more than that

  • How the fuck can you dislike this???

  • I still love you Dusty.

  • I can't find this version on iTunes or Amazon. Which release is it?

  • Dusty Springfield, Herb Alpert, Burt Bacharach and Hal David. So beautiful. So sixties. So nostalgic. I can actually feel myself back in 1967.

  • I loved Dusty Springfield since I was a teenager in the 60's. Great music back then. The kind of music that made you happy. The kind of music that you would sing along with.

  • @torrents4u2c Me too, I was 15 when this song came out. Brings me back so much to my youth, the awakening of my adult life. So many experiences, so many memories. Music like this can really put you in that place.

  • LOL I sing this to my husband when I have a little to much wine..

  • My goodness.. if there is any song that have to express the feelings of love and surrender, THIS is the right one!

  • 64 people have never seen the look of love in someone's eyes

  • OK, what didn't they like about this?

  • I remember this song being in Berlin,,,during the cold war...1966-68..

  • perfection

  • To me this will always be my favorite version. Her voice soothes my soul.

  • This music is simply marvelous and the interpretation of Dusty, so cool, amazing¹

  • My favorite all-time love song! Perfect!

  • I wish I could have spent one night in her presence, she singing all those beautiful songs in my ear. What I wouldn't give to "experience" her. love you always Dusty.

  • EVERY TIME i hear this i feel like kicking back taking a cigar out and smoking it next to a fireplace..

  • issac hayes killed his version

  • I have 3 favorite songs, and this is one of them. Thanks Burt Bacharach and Dusty Springfield for this unforgettable gift in musical talent. Rest in Peace Dusty.

  • she had beauty, a voice so smooth slky / feminine/ sexy, a pretty face,

beautiful legs. there has not been a female singer of similar qualities since.

  • thumps up if you watched Julia's eyes(Los ojos de Julia).

  • Was Dusty Springfield asthmatic?

  • lovely song :3

  • Classy

  • WHAT A LOVELY AND CHARMING SONG THIS IS. WRITTEN BY BURT BACHARACH AND PERFORMED BY NONE OTHER THAN HERB ALPERT AND Co.

UNBELIEVABLE TEAMWORK THAT HAPPENS ONCE IN A BLUE MOON. HER LOVELY VOICE IS JUST FANTASTIC.. I DARE TO SAY DREAMY.

  • Not just technically superb with an apparently effortless capacity to change timbre and intensity and to pitch exquisitely, Dusty manages to balance fragility and sensuality in a vocal performance that draws the listener in with bated breath. It reminds me somewhat of Dionne Warwick and Walk On By. The backing track is so minimal, so light, so well-judged: total class, really. Wasn't she great? I just don't think Diana Ross has enought depth to come close, however much money they spent on hers.

  • @MrCoalescent You Said It All "Perfectly".

  • Do I make you horny baby?

  • Charlize Theron is currently making a movie about Dusty's life and she refuses to lip sync this song, which is a slap in the face to Dusty and to her fans. This song was nominated for an Oscar in 1967, but "Talk To The Animals" from the Doctor Doolittle movie won, what a shame this song is a classic. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO ROVINGEYE2 !

  • @darlinkula1 charlize theron better not suck at this movie.. if she really going to play her..

other wise im going to put on brass knuckles and punch her in the cunt..

  • it feels like my heart is my double bass, and is silently crying tears of golden syrup

  • the best balladier ever. one of the best female singers ever. janis ioplin, bonnie raite,

grace slick, stevie nicks are all tied for second. all different all unique

  • Have you ever heard a more sensuous, deliciously wicked voice than hers?

  • This woman is a goddess.........and it does not matter that she likes women....the most sultry, smoking-hot singer ever......Blue Eyed Soul awriiiite!!!!!

  • Listening to Dusty is like soaking up warm sun rays on a beach.

  • One of my favorite songs of all time done by one of my favorite singers as well. Thanks for posting. I love it.

  • The look the feel of cotton? wasn't part of this melody used in a cotton commercial yrs ago?

  • the song to get the girls undressed!

  • she was truthfully amazing.

  • Most people don't know that this song is a Bond theme for the 1967 spoof Casino Royale, song was written over a weekend, rubbish movie, classic song

  • One of the greatest songs to ever emerge from the 1960's!

  • hi why did gh break up sonny and resse marshall

  • This is truly a beautiful sexy love song! I have recently re-discovered it and cant stop playing it.

  • This is truly a beautiful sexy love song! I have recently rediscovered it and can't stop playing it.

  • i remember this song from the film "casino royale" with peter sellers and david niven. great movie, great song, great decade for memories. i not only miss the 1960s,i miss the 1900s altogether. we're only 11 years into it, and this century SUCKS!!!

  • @12161euclid thats so hilariously put, but your dead right..

i know the world is going to end. cause the musics sucks

  • @12161euclid ... haven't laughed so much for ages ... I'm with you 'lucid euclid' ...

  • @12161euclid You got to make the best of what you got I guess, so stay healthy.

  • @12161euclid I agree.

  • @12161euclid Got news for u, it sucked after the first year and it's been all downhill since. I couldn't agree with you more, I really miss the 1900s. The 1960s and 1970s especially. Even compared to today I miss the 1980s.

  • @12161euclid somebody told me that if you can remember the 60's you weren't there! lol but you are right. 11 years in and it stinks.

  • @12161euclid

Sure. Millions dead in two world wars, nuclear stalemate, sexism and racism commonplace.... boy those were the days!

  • @CaptainBaxter as with any era you have to take the bad with the good. i just cant see people being nostagic for justin bieber and the like 60 years from now.

  • @12161euclid Yeah that's fair, I was just being flippant. The pop music of this century has been poor, I agree. There is a lot of good music too though, you just have to look a bit harder for it!

  • @12161euclid haha i remember this song from the movie "catch me if you can." it's a 2002 film, but it took place in that AMAZING era.

and yeah, besides the internet, this century is lacking in general awesomeness.
