Has it been 5 years since you have shown no sign of the virus? Also, I have hep c and it has messed my thyroid too...What did you do to fix your thyroid problem. Please answer me if you can. I really am confused about the whole thyroid problem. I decided not to do the interferon, but i do want my thyroid to regulate before it throws my hormones all off.
thanks for that lyn...i to have the virus hep c i got diagnosed 1 year ago but im a bit scared to srart the treatment i work full time as a builder and cant afford to go on the sick but watching your video has made me think about it a bit more.Thank You. Best wishes for the future. Mark
I had 2 sets of treatment with interferon.First obviously failed; drunk alcohol with it.Second time , no drinks it worked.Felt like total shit but was stubborn and it worked..It was hell but worth it. Be tough and see it out.
My Gasterologist told me that my Liver was normal in appearance and my enzymes were low and he was not gonna put me on interferon and to get a sonogram every 6 months.
I am on treatment. 3 month already. 3 more to go. It is crazy, and I am thinking to stop it... but there is a chance. No virus in blood now. we will see
my mother has hep c. she has treatment for 4 months, and she was told the she is hep c free. we found out today that the virus is back just 9 months later. i would love to do what is it that we need to do for the next step. any idea plz help THANKS
@itsokay4me - I took the treatments but they didn't work. I also was never told of the nutrition that was needed and other things that may have made it work better. Don't drop the treatments as it will be harder to find a Dr. that will put you in a new group. I know the side affects are almost unbearable but it has to be done. Just like a cancer patient we have to endure if life is valuable to us. I hope my next treatments will work, I have one last shot at this and then I'm on my own.
When my bf contracted Hep C, I was truly worried that he was going to have a hard time with the Interferon. He's barely 130 soaking wet even though he was 24 at the time. He found out a couple year after he stopped using that he had it, and that was too long. He was lucky...the interferon saved his life. And he never once complained of any nausea/fatigue/ect. He was very fortunate. I really hope u try something else. It is such a dangerous condition. God bless
@aleigha0707 im glad to hear that cause im on interferon/copegus and i have been on treatment for about 8 weeks and i havent had any side effects or anything except a lil fatigue.i was worried the shit wasnt working cause almost 99% of people i have talked to have had massive flu like symptoms burning in the joints etc.good stuff though glad to hear he made it through.peace
bang on description,, going through treatment at present (6months) and have battled to stay as active as l always have been...ups and downs,, but stay positive mentally and get trough it.....
anyone who is interested in learning more about living with hep c may also find the book "Living With Hepatitis C for Dummies" useful. it explains how hep C affects the body and gives advice on today's treatment options-from drugs (and their side effects) to transplants and alternative therapies-as well as tips on dealing with the emotional and financial burdens the disease brings with it.
Thanks for the post. I'm not sure if you're in a position to answer this, but is HepC commonly tested for when you have a standard blood test at your local health clinic (UK?).
how do you spell that second drug that she took?

you should ask directly, with our facade of a health service your post code probably changes what you are at risk of having :|
