@FHomeBrew well, sweetie was wrong on one point. brony was originally /b/rony, as you can still see in older pictures. it was for all pony fans from /b/, and we had /co/lts for those from /co/. this was way back when this was barely a thing and we were just a little sprout on 4chan, where everything started. of course /b/ was bigger, more successful, and had the catchier name, so brony came to be. it has ALWAYS been unisex, new people just started saying it wasn't and confused people.

That wa a pretty nice introduction. I still like My Little Pony even though I am older than the target audience. At least I'm a girl.
