He DID NOT MENTION that if you replaced Venus's CO2 atmosphere with OUR atmosphere -that is 80% Nitrogen and 20% Oxygen (at the same barometric pressure) the temperature on Venus would GO UP 300F (or 200 degrees centigrade).

most is but the atmosphere keeps more, so if you have more evaporation, because of more ocean surface and more wind and heat there is more rain but you must always have more water vapour in the atmosphere.

Actually the percentage of water evaporation has diminished considerably becose temperature is not the main factor for water evaporation, but also is the wind and the sun, being this the most important one in the evaporation process.

There is NO PLACE IN SCIENCE for BELIEF.

In Gore's case, the evidence is gored, skewered and selectively filtered to support his belief driven Nostradamus like soothing of disasters to come.

The last two winters have seen record ice regrowth.

Usually but not always when a scientist says belief they are saying that the evidence is highly suggestive of or the facts demonstrate or it's been proven that and so on.

That is the sub heading of an excellent article in The National Post newspaper this weekend. Search on that heading and read the details about Dr. Mann and his science that the NAS has even chastised.

The ice this winter is reforming, as it did last winter!

The Earth's climate has been changing since it's beginning; in fact if the climate were not changing we'd need to be concerned.

Actually the ice reforming is more and more as a result ot the last two years RECORD increase in how much has reformed.

Climate is always changing so your statement "but more and more" is meaningless.

Up in the Great White North (Canada) we WANT it to be warmer! 10c warmer would be welcomed as wonderful. I suspect the same is true for most northern countries including Tropical Alaska.

Unfortunately Nature does what she wants and not what we want. Get over it.

Regarding the sun - sun's activity is weak but global temperatures are rising every year, glaciers are melting etc.

Also sun activity is too weak to impact climate in such degree which we know as global climate change - scientifically proven.

It's not proven beyond any doubt that climate change temperatures are "proven" by your points 1 through 5. It is still supposition especially considering the faulty hockey stick of the soothsayer Dr. Mann who was chastised by the NAS over his unwillingness to have his work that the IPCC is based upon audited.

The scientific process cares not for anything but evidence. To ignore the actual evidence is to not do science. Climate Science is based upon statistical averages of weather patterns. Look it up if you doubt that.

Weather is the raw data of climate science and when the weather changes it will by necessity impact the climate science unless the climate science isn't based upon reality - as Dr. Mann's work seems to not be.

Err no. Average Ice Coverage is still well below average, and the annual global mean surface temperature has risen dramatically over a very short period of time, so which one of these scientific facts do you dispute?

1. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas (Tyndall 1859).

2. Carbon dioxide in the air is increasing (Keeling et al. 1958).

3. The new carbon dioxide is coming from fossil fuels (Suess 1955).

4 The temperature is rising (NASA GISS, Meet Office Hadley Centre CRU, etc).
