When I got my tongue pierced, I ahd to swish for 3 minutes. It looked like she was prepping 4 surgery(as it should be.) She dried my tongue with a paper towel, clamped my tongue & pierced it really quick. It was over in seconds. I had to chew ice for a while & I talked like sylvester but it wasn't as painful as some might think. IDK, I have a high tolerance for pain. It looks scarier than it is. I have 7 piercings total. That's all I plan 2 have. I did take out my lip ring. It didn't work 4 me.

This guy has no idea what the fuck he's doing and she could sue him if in fact he does have a license. Further more, the angle of the piercing has no effect on him letting the needle and th clamps fall off multiple times.

the whole reasn the clamps slipped was because he didn't prepare her tongue by drying it off, my boyfriend just got his done yesterday, and literally it took two minutes, we were in then it was done and we were gone. The girl who pierced his did a beautiful job, she was so kind, and he didn't feel it at all. Because she did it properly, this piercer is a dumb ass and should be fired. The needle shouldnt be "half-way through" for three fucking minutes..

Okay yeah, he didn't really line up the mark he made on her tongue, just made a dot, he should have dried her tongue, he should've had a napkin or cup for her, and he should've checked the bottom more to make sure he wouldn't poke a vessel. Yes, he forgot to dry her tongue so the clamps would not slip. Also, he should have done a very quick push when pushing the needle and barbell through. A bib would have been nice too considering she drooled quite a bit.

But either way, why should you sue him? Yeah he made a small mistake and it caused a bit more pain...but it did not cause an infection. I don't see what he did sooo wrong that you would have to sue him. You had a few more minutes of pain, more than other people.

You can't really entirely blame the piercer. It isn't his fault she started to pull her tongue back into her mouth (a pretty normal response to getting your tongue pierced) and it definitely isn't his fault that the clamps came loose. This doesn't make him a bad piercer. At least he was able to actually get the jewelry in. Sometimes, shit happens when you get pierced. Not willing to risk it? Then don't get it pierced.
