In the touched by a drowning video my manager was really good friends with one of the guards that was in the rescue..I'm so glad I'm an ellis lifeguard I wouldn't guard for any other company
I have been working E & A for the last 4 years and I moved and got a job at a pool which does Red Cross training. I absolutely hate Red Cross. Their training has no true logic.
the fact that the pool in touched by a drowning didn't have a backboard has nothing to do with the red cross. that should be part of the pool's responsibility. but that would be hard for them considering everyone who worked at that pool in st
martinville were a bunch of souther redneck fucks lololol. ellis can suck my cock

I'm in the Ellis program now and we just watched touched by drowning... That made me really question the capabilities of the red cross. Sure worry about the spinal cord when the kid is unconscious without a pulse and there is white foam coming out off his mouth... That and the fact that it hurt those poor life guards lives. One of them commited suicide he was so upset! And that my friends is why I don't give blood ever! How can I trust them messing with my arteries when this stuff happens. smh!
I was trained as a ARC lifeguard for two and a half years before becoming an Ellis guard when I started guarding at a popular water park. I won't go as far as to say that ARC sucks or anything, but.... Ellis is definitely a lot better. I am much more confident in my abilities with Ellis, and I have saved a lot of lives since I became an Ellis guard. ARC isn't bad, but they do stretch themselves too thin, and it shows in their lifeguarding program.
I recently did the Red Cross Lifeguard course. It was pretty easy after having previously done the BSA course. Red Cross seems to be focused on pools while BSA is focused on open water rescues (more combative, harder swimming requirements).
U guys are a bunch of hatters.. is cuz u guys dont like beiging part of the redcross like us.. nd when u need our help im pretty sure ur not gonna say no... GO AMERICAN RED CROSS..

Thanks. I'm not sure... I usually only get comments from pool employees, most don't even have youtube accounts.
